I'm in an awful mood so maybe that's why but I found tonight pretty bad :( There were little bits of some sketches (calling Charlotte a "little sponger" and Leanne Wood's "even I forget my name" for example) but nothing exceptional.

This episode was brilliant. Admittedly last week's was a slight drop off in quality. But tonight was great, in particular the royal baby sketches and "We Put The Voters Off".

Just watched this week's episode now and it was a bit weird watching after a coalition has not actually happened!

Loved the 'Shake It Off' ending as well as The Cube and the voting for Greens bit where she put it in the recycling. Simple but I found it hilarious.

This week's one should be really good. Some new faces I should imagine. Mind you - what can the do with Michael Gove when his face is just too unbelievably funny/strange looking to begin with!

Well, this is one show that I didn't think would get a 2nd series, but I just saw a trail on ITV1 for a new series of Newzoids. I had mixed thoughts about Newzoids when it first aired, but I think the time is definitely right for political satire, especially if it keeps up its vicious streak from the first series. There's also a great scope for characters that didn't feature in the first series, I'm itching to see what they make of Jeremy Corbyn & Theresa May (the former of which hasn't received much scouring by satirists to date, despite there being so much to work with).
Just seen on Google Now (with a ITV page showing the new Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn puppets) that this would be getting a second series! I think political satire is a must in this depressing, miserable year for the world (Brexit, Trump, etc.).

According to Jon Culshaw, one of the voices of the show, the new series starts next Saturday.

enjoyed series 1 too!

can't wait for this too.

(guessing they will use the slot after X-Factor?)

surprised at where they chose to skedule it

Very much looking forward to this returning! It's definitely needed in this bizarre political time but I didn't think it would return after some pretty bad ratings for the first series. Let's just hope the Saturday timeslot works.

There's going to be 50 new faces for the series including Adele, Zayn, Donald Trump and... Danny Dyer! Of course these two will be amongst the biggest stars:

The first episode of series 2 airs on Saturday at 9:15pm.

Just caught up now and really enjoyed it, there were quite a few really on point moments!

In particular, I loved the Ricky Gervais on X Factor (so accurate!), Donald Trump: 'Life is like a box of chocolates, there's too many black and brown ones', Alan Carr on Judge Rinder, Richard Osman and the Brexit hotline: 'How was I to know that we would leave if i voted leave?'. Ed Milliband was a highlight of the first series so I'm glad they had a sketch with him in it as well, so funny!

There were one or two duds though, particularly the Prince George thing which I still don't get. Still very glad that it returned though and I'm excited for the rest of the series!

I hadn't seen (or even HEARD) of this, but watched on Saturday and loved it. The Strictly/Tessbot jokes were on point and I really liked the Forrest Trump sketch too. I agree that the Prince George thing didn't work though, I think I get what they were going for but it just boiled down to some not very good jokes in a dodgy accent.

I actually really liked the Prince George one, in particular 'you might be crying now but you won't when you get Sandringham'

'Have you been missold a Brexit' though
