Kicking off the top 5 is the amazing "Neon Lights" released in November 2013 as the 3rd single from her 4th album "Demi" and also shows Demi exploring dance music for the first time and received positive results and became another hit for her worldwide by hitting top 20 in Belgium, New Zealand, Luxembourg and the UK, and top 40 in Israel, Mexico, Canada, Lebanon and USA. It gained mainly high scores with 7 10's, 7 9's and 8 8's, with no score lower than a 6.

At #4 is the first song to finish with a 9 average "Made In The USA" released in July 2013 as the 2nd single from her 4th album "Demi" and she released the song to coincide with Independence Day and was regarded as a grown up version of Miley Cyrus's "Party In The USA" and following on from the massive success of her International break through hit "Heart Attack". But unfortunately the song didn't quite take off by only managing a #80 peak in the USA and limping at #89 in the UK. It's highest peak was in Lebanon at #20, but failed to crack the top 40 anywhere else. But who cares it's still a great song and has received much love on this rate with 4 11's, 6 10's, it's lowest score was 7 which isn't bad whatsoever and managed to finish with a top 5 placing.

MITU is fabulous, so summery and fun.

 

NL is far too high, I really like it still tbf but it's easily among her weakest singles for me.

The song is very good, a bit "generic" but it's very good. 'Made In the USA' however, is a modern day pop BOP! Such an anthem and pretty much a schooling into how you DO a pop song. Pisses me off that it's by FAR the worst performing song of that era (her career? :unsure:)

I wish I'd voted in this, 'Remember December' is my favourite and it's crashed out in 15th. :(

 

'Made In The USA' is utter crap.

Glad 'Give Your Heart a Break' is still her. Her best work ever for me.

At #3 and also reaching the same position as it did in the charts is the utterly fantastic "Heart Attack" which almost became the runner up, but last minute scoring placed the runner up 2 points ahead, so this had to settle for 3rd place, which isn't bad and considering it's amazing average of 9.6. Released in February 2013 as the lead single from her 4th album "Demi". The song was actually written 2 years before it was released and one of the songs writers Nikki Williams wrote it as she was going through a bad break up and became depressed and decided to pour it all out on this song and originally it was intended for her but her record label rejected it and Demi heard the song and loved it, but altered some of the lyrics and the first version actually contained a dubstep break, but it was removed. The song became a massive success by hitting #10 on the US Top 100 becoming her 3rd top 10 hit and became her breakthrough hit in the UK by reaching #3. In other countries it hit top 10 in Ireland, Lebanon, Ukraine, Canada and New Zealand, as well as top 20 in Italy, Belgium, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Greece and Turkey.

This exactly. It's leagues better than the latter for me.

Skyscraper is my favourite song ever, just stunning. It'll be GYHAB though which I find a tad overrated. Great song but it'd be like 8th or 9th for me here.....

In the runner up spot is "Skyscraper" so that means that you all know who the winner is, but for now let's talk about this beautiful song, released in July 2011 as the lead single from her 3rd album "Unbroken", lyrically the song speak of staying strong and believing in yourself and was inspired by a picture of the apocalypse where amongst all the ruins was one single skyscraper stood tall. The song became another success for her by reaching the top 10 in the USA and in the UK the song originally peaked at #32, but in September 2013 thanks to the success of "Heart Attack" the song re entered the charts at #13 and climbed to #7 becoming her 2nd top 10 hit. In other countries it reached top 10 in Ukraine, Scotland and New Zealand, while reaching top 20 in Finland, Ireland, Canada and Denmark. It gained several high scores with 5 11s, 10 10's and only one lower rate of 6 and 7.

Now finally we come to the end and your winner is "Give Your Heart A Break" which was basically the clear winner from the start gathering an impressive 8 11's and 7 10's. Released in January 2012 as the 2nd and final single from her 3rd album "Unbroken" . Originally "Who's That Boy" featuring Dev was announced as the 2nd single, but was scrapped due to Dev's pregnancy, and this was chosen instead and received critical acclaim upon release and became another hit for by reaching #16 in the USA and reached the top 10 in New Zealand, and also top 20 peaks in Lebanon, Canada, Chile, Turkey and Portugal, along with top 40 peaks in Belgium and Brazil. In the UK it wasn't as successful as "Skyscraper" by only managing to chart #194, which is such a shame as it is one of her finer moments.

I wish to correct you on why 'Skyscraper' re-peaked at #7, it was because of X-Factor in 2013. :P

Yay for that winner. I'm quite surprised to because when I glanced at the scores, I thought it was seeming a lot less popular. This is such a banger, the kind of song I could have seen being particularly massive in the UK given the correct circumstances.

Skyscraper became a hit due to X Factor overplaying it.
