I'm guessing he's performed this again somewhere. It's good to see it on the rise and had it actually had decent promo could've been a big hit. Hopefully can make the top 40 - although streaming will probably kill it's chances

He's on "Loose Women" on Wednesday, which should give him another push, and he will be on stage in Heaven (London) on Saturday, that's the info i got from his FB-page.

 

But without radio support, apart from a few spins on Radio 2, and no CD-singles - remember, how they helped Shane Filan, and I am sure Markus would also sell them well - a Top 40 place on Sunday would already be great. I hope, with pre-orders, he will be Top 20 in the first chart update, and maybe still Top 30 on Wednesday, so maybe he will get a play on Radio 1.

 

Great to see Markus Feehily doing relatively well on iTunes. Love Is A Drug is a beautigul song. Hopefully it will be top 40 on Sunday. ^_^

I don't remember Shane's song at all - to be honest I was prepared to hate the Markus song and only really listened to it because I thought he had a good voice and wondered what sort of music it would be and was majorly surprised by it (in a good way).

 

But yeah he should get a spin on Radio 1 in the midweek chart, which could help :) It's doing a lot better than I was expecting it too as well, so I guess you never know, it could manage to make a top 40 place

Major Lazer have nudged their way back into the top ten. I'd love it if they could actually climb up officially this week.

Of course I meant "Everything to me", and that was No. 14 - and as far as I remember even No. 7 on the first chart update, despite underperforming on itunes- I think it did never go Top 25 there. But he did a lot of signings and his CD-Singles really worked for him - and they still work for everything that is Boygroup related it seems.

Of course streaming also would have knocked him down :mellow:

Hope Skepta climbs on pre-orders this week - looking doubtful he'll go top 40 at this rate! Shutdown is too good to flop, especially with all the grime hype around right now.

It's actually A-listed on Radio 2 - but of course this rarely translates into sales. It's also had a lot of support from miscellaneous commercial stations - over 900 plays across the UK so far. Just nothing from the big networks.

Is American Oxygen an official single in the UK or what?, has it been sent to radio?

Who knows? This tactic of firing as many songs as possible at the public and seeing if anything hits isn't really working and has pretty much killed the album campaign.
