Oh dear, this Carly Rae Jepsen song is such a cheesy dross that it would be embarrassing to have such a thing at the top! :puke:

Wiz Khalifa is terrible too but still slightly better.

Nice to see you back again :)

I'll be happy as long as Carly goes top 3. I don't think it is better than CMM though. That's quite a tough task I think.

Nice to see you too, "see you again" :D

what's CMM?

I think Carly is a cert for #3 as well, I don't think her pre-orders will be that high considering sales were low when Jess Glynne was at #1 during that period.

AronChupa should have been released ages ago, I think it will finish missing the top 40 by the end of the week, unless it gets a firm foothold in the top 20.

And I'm assuming Billy Joel's track is something to do with BGT

I can see why they've held back AronChupa - it's taken a long time for it to get media support. It's only in the last month commercial radio in Scotland and the North East have really got on board.

Has anyone seen it on any of the TV channels? It's the sort of record that The Box would have propelled it into the top 5 in the early 2000s. Shame it doesn't have the power it used to. Not sure how well it's done in the clubs.

Didn't know Wiley's new single was out this week though, another fine Heavytrackerz production. He does only tend to rap about himself though!

It was brought forward, it wasn't due until 11th May

I secretly hope Carly can somehow get #1, it would be a refreshingly endearing chart topper. Team 'Cool' this week also, I could never have imagined how effective a Kylie sample could work in a dance song.

And yes to who asked, 'You're Always a Woman' has climbed due to a Britain's Got Talent performance. I've never actually heard the Billy Joel original but was fond of the Fyfe Dangerfield cover that did quite well around five years ago, so yay for that.

17. Cool

I'm hoping for top 10 so much... I guess the streaming will be low :|

That Cool song is lovely. Top 10 would be a justice.
Ghosttown pushed back a week - It's been hanging around the #80 mark on iTunes, has a brilliant video and physical so praying this can somehow go Top 40 although I feat it will end up like her last ballad 'Masterpiece' which become a #67 smash

Stupid question I know, but how can you "push back" a post-album single that people are already buying?

She will have a physical release which may have a small impact (it's pretty much what got 'Girl Gone Wild' to chart in the top 75).

I desperately want 'Ghosttown' to catch on against all odds and do something. It's SO good. :(

Ghost town is off the Radio 2 playlist now anyway
Great to see her already 25% higher than Clean Bandit ever got. I can see her getting as high as 80% by the day end.

If she's made the jump to 60 already, maybe she actually stands a small chance? :o :yahoo:
