CRJ now hitting reverse gear and down to 0.9000. As predicted she's stalling at 3..

 

 

She did very well to get as high as 92% on #1 though. Very rare that 92% wouldn't have you at #2. Luckily it looks like her lead over #4 means she should have #3 on lock this week.

 

Regarding Tove Lo, it will be combined next week, but this week she can chart on the remix alone, so she's losing about 1/2k sales this week that would count towards release week. Her label have made a silly

Mistake as those sales could be the difference between staying top 10/20 next week. People are obviously searching for the song, not realising it's not out and going for that remix as it's the closest to the original.

 

The remix will free fall next week when the original is available.

It's so unbelievably frustrating the way they've handled this release. Firstly by not having a single track as a pre-order for ages, then making the censored version the only one available to pre-order and then releasing the remixes to download a week and a half early.

 

I mean seriously, what the fuck?

 

It's just annoying to me because I've been obsessed with this track for months and eagerly awaiting its UK release to see it do something, and it'll probably barely make the top 40 now due to all this. :(

It seems like streaming is becoming more of a deciding factor in the overall charts than sales these days. Getting top 10 on streams only heightens the overall position more than getting top 10 on sales only.

Yes it's at #100 today. I think this is it's first time in the top 100 as it's actually been on there for 3/4 months so I'd say it might make it Sunday depending on how it holds up for the remainder of the week!

 

In an ideal world I'd rather it doesn't but then I'm all for new entries clearing the bottom of the chart out.

That makes the strongest iTunes top 10 I've seen in ages. I actively listen to all songs from 3 - 10! Shame about 1/2 for me, but the reshuffle will be difficult next week if it's the same as this.
