HOW TO CONFIRM AND STUFF

Confirmations are now OPEN (and will remain open until 23:59 BST on Tuesday the 5th of May, 2015). As we all voted in the final last month no one is banned from this contest, hooray! The only criteria for eligibility are that you must have an account that is at least 3 months old and a registered BJSC country. Basically if you've ever entered before you can do so again, and if you haven't entered before you can sign up right now in the pinned New Country Registration thread and get straight into it unless you only just joined the site.

To enter your song for this contest, just fill in the following information and send it in a PM to this account (¡bré!)

As per the second post in the green room thread (and also the last contest I hosted) I am asking for everyone to give me the start and end time of a ~25-35 second segment of your song which you feel best represents it for use in the SoundCloud recaps. If you still don't know what I'm on about here is the recap from semi-final 1 of the previous contest I hosted as an example. I am asking for y'all to provide this information because you will know your own song better than I do, so it will all end up sounding nicer and whatnot if everyone picks their own segment.

If you leave out any of the above information in your confirmation PM then I will badger you for the missing bit(s), apols in advance :magic: If you still haven't provided an MP3 link by the close of confirmation I will just convert your song from YouTube/SoundCloud for the MP3 packs (so if you're unable to provide a better quality MP3 anyway then just let me know that). I will also pick a recap segment for you if you haven't provided that by the deadline.

I will accept streaming links from hipster non-YouTube/SoundCloud sites if you MUST but preferably go for one of those two. MP3 links on ZippyShare or SendSpace are preferable but again I'll probably be okay with other sites. Though if I get a virus I will be mad at you.

BORING RULES WHICH YOU PROBABLY KNOW ALREADY

Before you enter please make sure your song:

1. Hasn't already been entered. Here's a thread with all the songs ever entered if you're unsure.

2. Isn't by A-WA, SANNI or Courtney Barnett - these artists came top 3 last month so are banned from this contest.

3. Isn't by the same artist you entered last month. (Preferably avoid artists that have been sent before, by yourself or anyone else, in general but that's not a RULE).

4. Isn't a Eurovision Song Contest entry for 2015 or any previous year. You can do better than that anyway surely.

Also to save the moderating team some work please check your song against the veto framework, if you think your song is in danger of being vetoed I'd strongly advise looking for something else, for every one potential veto there are THOUSANDS of songs out there that won't cause any trouble.

Let the confirming begin! Shortly after you have confirmed, your country name will appear in the list below as well as a qt little personalised countryball graphic ~ There might be a slight delay in the graphics for countries who didn't enter my last contest as I won't have drawn them yet and may have forgotten how to. Lol.

Persephonia, as the winners of the last contest (yass bish), are guaranteed a place in the final this month. Our neighbours will be watching the number of confirmations with a CLOSE EYE because if it ends up being an even number, Daehun will also auto-qualify for the final following their second place finish last month. Everyone else will be drawn into one of two semi-finals, with 20 countries qualifying from each (assuming we get at least 60 entries, which we almost certainly will).
