Biography

"Cheerleader" is a 2012 Jamaican reggae song by reggae/soul/urban pop artist OMI (Omar Samuel Pasley) on Oufah Records.

In 2014 it was remixed by German DJ and music producer Felix Jaehn and released by Sony Music as "Cheerleader" (Felix Jaehn Remix). This version went on to become a number-one hit in Australia, Austria, Belgium (Flanders), Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. It also serves as the theme song to a bollywood fusion dance team called WashU Chaahat. The trumpet in this song was played by Leonard Bywa. - Wikipedia

Never saw this happening a few weeks ago (though I was half expecting it tp happen today)! Gwan OMI.

Didn't expect "Cheerleader" to be number one this week!

That's a great surprise! Really find See You Again quite boring and I'm glad Cheerleader is a #1!

First time in a long time I've been surprised by what's number 1! :o

Omi's held up impressively well considering how long it was held back, if anything, it's been more consistent than Wiz.

Just over 1000 chart sales in it.
