It seems to be billed as a comedy drama - but to me its more of a plain, hard-faced drama with some witty lines. I'm enjoying it. The senior female police officer reminds me of a blond Katy Brand.

Seen a few ads for this. Finally checked it out this evening.

 

SO BLOODY GOOD. If you've not watched this yet, do so now.

On episode 2 now and this is getting better and f***ing better. What a f***ing epic show this is. It's so delightfully northern

No one else watching this? I'm now fully caught up. Can't wait until next week for the finale.

Yeah I'm loving this so much, the writing is excellent and I'm really looking forward to next weeks final :cry:

 

Really hope Channel 4 give this a second series

This is SO good - such sharp dialogue and acting - but I was a little disappointed by the cliched identity of the main murderer. STILL looks like the angle they're going with for the fallout will prove just as enthralling, so a minor note of dissent only.

Really looking forward to tonight's finale. Can't wait to see what happens especially now Dinah is well on to him and Viv played with fire. Should be a good one.

A friend of mine recommended this show to me only 2 weeks ago and i tuned in and am very much enjoying it.

C4 announced at the end of the show tonight that it would return next year!!!!!! I am SO beyond happy. Hand on heart this is one of the best shows of recent years. Probably the best thing the UK has produced since the IT Crowd and Suburban Shootout.

I am hoping to catch up with this (I feel that I'm saying this about everything :kink: but I am excited to see this), Channel 4 are normally good with keeping series on All 4 long past their transmission dates so I'm hoping for the same here!

9 days ago the first episodes were still on All4 way past 4 weeks after transmission. Should still be up and it's well worth the watch.

This returns tonight!!!!! 9pm C4!

I was intrigued by the trailer and had planned to watch it, but January is so bombarded with dramas that I've not got round to it yet.

I don't know what else you're watching but I'd stake a wager that this shits on the rest of January's dramas from the top of the Beetham Tower

Season 2 finale is Wednesday and OMG it promises to be outstanding. Think this season is actually better than the first (and the first was one of the best seasons of TV I think I've ever seen)

f*** me. The finale was outstanding. The third quarter was probably the best 15 mins of TV I've seen in a long time. Insanely gripping
