I think it must be price - It was £3.99 on iTunes but just spotted they have upped the price to £6.99 now.

 

 

Disappointed to s em that Hozier has been pushed out of the Top 20 now that streaming has been factored in - He's Top 15 on iTunes and just outside the Spotify Top 40 so was hoping he would make it.

 

I'm guessing Ciara is also now out of the singles Top 40? Disaster for the song as without streaming it would have been on course for a 3rd week in the Top 40 :cry:

Poor Ariana :cry: I guess streams weren't going to help her this time... :nocheer:

The UK is such an odd market, how is Tove not big on steaming while she's currently nominated for Top Streaming Song at the Billboard Music Awards in the US? She is the essence of a streaming artist

It doesn't help that Radio 1 A-listed for only 30 seconds either. I don't get it though, it's such an accessible song and SLAYING radio in the US

 

Surely a case of UK radio being snobby towards a song of a somewhat sexual and explicit nature?

Also Tove Lo probably has a bigger audience in the US, you can't really compare her doing well in the UK market.

Not surprised to see that Galantis have dropped to four. Hopefully they can hold on, a top 5 placing officially come Sunday would be divine!
