Whatever happened to Danja? The unstoppable Danja seems to have stopped.
At the moment:

Same. I too think 'DYWCO' will overtake 'Clumsy' for me - the latter was incredibly instant and I still adore it, but the former has really been growing and I think it will continue to do so.

 

Also, I really really really really really really like the male vocals in the chorus! I think it works so well! It adds to the song like Danja's parts did in 'Get Naked (I Got A Plan)'. Nothing like 'Focus' because Britney is still very present in the chorus. The male voice adds a nice layer to her confident talk/singing in the chorus and her chanting the title in the background.

Oh I LOVE Danja's parts in 'Get Naked (I Got a Plan)'; he really should have been credited because he adds so much to the song. Another collab with him please!

Britney worked with him for 'Glory', perhaps one of the tracks will be produced by him? I hope so, then together has made some of the best pop songs of this decade.

As long as we don't get him having a chinwag at the end of one of the songs like on Gimme More :')

Why do I love these so much!!? Feel like I just saved princess peach and I'm twerking to celebrate.

I believe the guy in the chorus is Justin Tranter, who obviously wrote the song with Britney and Julia Michaels, so that's fun. I can pretty easily imagine them having a lot of fun making this song given how massively camp and over the top his chorus vocals are and that Britney seemed to get along with them when working with them!

 

The thing that pleases me most about this album is how many new people she's working with, because 2008-2013 was a very repetitive time in Britneyland. I'm ok with the abandoning of people like Danja and Bloodshy & Avant if that sort of attitude is what it took to free her from Dr. Luke and Max Martin, but it's still kinda blah. There are so many producers she's worked amazingly with and then randomly stopped using.

Not gonna lie kids, when I first heard the clip of DYWCO, I was thinking what is this atrocity... but I was apparently not in my right mind cause it's definitely been slaying me all day.

 

Never has the sound of a can opening sounded so magical. I've probably drunk 500 cans of soda today.

Does it remind anyone else somewhat of She Wants To Move by N.E.R.D in the chorus? I could very realistically believe there was a Pharrell involvement in this. It's just fully clicked with me, after hating Private Show and being unsold but kinda liking Clumsy.
