July 19, 20169 yr The best theory I've seen so far is that the knock on the door was the authorities. And Elliot's reality is actually a prison/mental institute. To be honest, I'm actually really inclined to believe that, as if you think about it, everything about his routine was quite similar to a prison!
July 20, 20169 yr Actually, yes, that does make complete sense. The routine of having breakfast, lunch and dinner with the same character that we've never seen before, the playing basketball outside every day, the talking to a guy whose wife just wants him to find a friend (and the concept that he would lie to her to pretend that he has found one to stop her being worried), attending a bible group(!), the scene where Gideon visits him and sits opposite from him as they would do in prison...
July 24, 20169 yr Can Elliot interact with others again sometime soon please, series so far feels a tiny bit self indulgent. Plus bring back the best character!
August 4, 20168 yr 3 posts in a row, YES PLEASE. So the new episode this week was by far my favourite of the series to date, a real step up from the rest for me. I really love the FBI character so she had better not die!
August 4, 20168 yr Not seen the most recent episode but the first 4 episodes of season 2 were mind-numbingly boring. I mean...wtf. Such a massive shame considering how incredible the first season was. Edited August 4, 20168 yr by jase.
August 13, 20168 yr So the episode this week was good in places (largely the hack parts) but wtf was that beginning section?!!!
September 11, 20168 yr Starting to pick up pace again, the last 10 minutes of episode 10 were proper edge of your seat stuff (and that final scene.. wow!). I am fully awaiting another major twist at the end of the next episode regarding Mr. Robot. He's definitely acting strange and whatever he's hiding from Elliot is going to come through soon. Just really wish they should tell us what happened to Tyrell. The 2nd season has really suffered from his absence.
September 12, 20168 yr Just caught up on the past two episodes and found them both to be really tense viewing, felt like virtually every character was in danger one way or another. The series has definitely improved. Whilst I am missing Tyrell, Dominique makes up for his absence in my book - love her character. Edited September 12, 20168 yr by dandy*
September 13, 20168 yr Yes! Love Dom! The final scene in the last episode was so well done. The timer on the crossing actually counts down to the shooter. The scene where Elliot asks us to look around his apartment was great too. I think Elliot has something to do with the two people on the train with Angela, phase two?
September 17, 20168 yr I'd thought that all the way through the first series as the two characters were a bit obsessed with each other and Tyrrel would have provided the drive needed to carry out the hack but then, when it didn't happen in series one, I thought I must have been wrong. I did think it again in the final episode of Series one though as it seemed too convenient that they were both present when the code was executed.
September 17, 20168 yr Yes, admittedly that doesn't make total sense. Unless she is completely in on the multiple characters and that's why she knew who Elliot was?
September 24, 20168 yr Well that was a disappointing final episode. :/ I really enjoyed it, but it just gave 100 more questions. At least we know Tyrell is definitely not dead. And it was interesting how much Dom knew about F Society. The aftercredits scene was truly the best thing though!
September 24, 20168 yr I think I was disappointed because I really felt the previous 3 episodes or so really felt like it was building to something great, the tension in them all was amazing as I've said previously... and then the final one just didn't feel like that at all. I wanted to understand more about Whiterose and Angela and we didn't really get anything aside from a hint. The Dom bits were okay enough too but the bit I was really underwhelmed by was the Mr Robot/Elliot/Tyrell bits - Obviously Elliot getting shot was unexpected but Tyrell's character just wasn't the same without the desperation/drive to succeed that he had in series 1. Oh and Joanna's story was a massive anticlimax also.
