15. Nicki Minaj - The Night Is Still Young (11 votes, 30.56%)

 

The latest single from Nicki's latest album crashes out. One of the few feel-good pop moments on the album, it would probably sound a lot more fitting on PF:RR, but it's here and she couldn't refuse giving it a push. The video dropped only the other week and it seemed to be moving towards her gaining some much needed support for the campaign, before a series of mishaps meant that Radio 1 dropped the single. It certainly sounds like a smash, but it wasn't to be ~ I love the verses and middle-8 but the chorus really lets the song down. It's far too basic, even for pop-Nicki!

Can't believe that you guys are trying to get rid of 'Freedom', it is one of her best songs ever, so honest and heartfelt.

 

'The Boys' is by far the worst. Never liked it.

I was also one of the Freedom's, I do like it but it does stand out of the ones remaining in not being quite up to it.
