147 Fifth Harmony Worth It (feat. Kid Ink)

148 Years & Years Shine

Wow. Could this be one of the closest and most unpredictable chart battles for #1 in ages?

Both have now got Capital and Radio 1 behind them.

I don't even know which I'd prefer for #1, I think Shine is a better song but I'm all for two girlgroup number 1s in a row!

Unfortunately David Zowie is pulling way ahead of the pair of them on pre-orders, so he's probably the favourite for #1 that week at the moment. :(

I'm a massive Britney fan but 'Pretty Girls' is absolutely dreadful. :puke2: It'll be very lucky to get top 20, it doesn't deserve it really.

I really miss old school Britney tbh. :( You know when she actually released some fantastic pop records.

I have a feeling that "Pretty Girls" will perform exactly how "Bo$$" did: top 10 in sales but completely flop officially.

Ah, at least we're looking at a decent top 3 placing for the other two then. Years & Years have already checked off the 'number 1' box, so another consecutive top 3 is perfectly respectable. I was worried 'Shine' wasn't connecting at first because it got off to a slow start but it looks like it's taking off now, which is great!

What exactly indicates 'Pretty Girls' will fall out of the top 20 from where it is in the midweeks? It'll probably scrape top 15 or so, but that prediction isn't logical.

Bo$$ was #11 on sales :kink:

I can't see Pretty Girls missing the top 20 at all, it should make it quite safely, nothing's suffered this huge a fall from the first midweeks so far in the streaming era has it (from #5 to outside the top 20)?

omg if David Zowie actually went to #1 that would be amazing *.* that would actually be far preferable to 5H/Y&Y but it wouldn't surprise me if none of them go to #1 and it's another week for Lost Frequencies.

Surprised that that David Zowie song is doing so well on pre-orders, maybe with that and Lost Frequencies, I was a bit premature saying deep house is suffering a bit lately?

Pretty Girls hasn't held up as well as I Want You To Know last week, so I think around #16-18.

David Zowie also has a streaming advantage at the moment.

Bit mad that Years & Years and Fifth Harmony aren't available on Spotify, but it's probably due to some dodgy contract with iTunes and visibility on their front page. Gotta cling to those dying download sales at all costs, eh?
