Two Premier League players, one an England international, are to come out as gay before the end of the season.

I wonder who it is. Luke Shaw has denied he is one of them on Twitter.

Yah! Arsenal at the top, not too shabby now.

.

Hope Man City lose today, Man City win will see them back on top.

Tim Sherwood has been sacked as Aston Villa manager after 8 months in charge:

From their website:

Aston Villa Football Club has parted company with manager Tim Sherwood today.

The Board has monitored the performances closely all season and believes the results on the pitch were simply not good enough and that a change is imperative.

However, the Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Tim for all his efforts during a difficult period last season and for the many positive contributions he has made to the entire football setup during his time with the Club. We wish him well in the future.

Assistant manager Ray Wilkins, first-team coach Mark Robson and performance analyst Seamus Brady have also left with immediate effect and do so with our best wishes.

A search for a new manager has commenced and the squad will be managed in the interim by Kevin MacDonald.

There will be no further comment from the Club at this stage.

Reckon they will go for Gary Monk, that's what the rumours are saying!

Can't be too long until Mourinho gets the chop surely?

Sunderland must have put some voodoo on Newcastle or something  sixth straight victory over their rivals.

Mourinho won't be sacked unless they look like going out of the Champions League.

What a bloody boring derby.

Not sure. Something's not right there at all. The players all looked absolutely drained.

The Manchester derby was awful. So dull! City came away with what they came for. Man Utd probably disappointed, but they did nothing to deserve the win.

I'm sad to say I wasted 90 minutes of my life on that derby today. The only thing I took away from it is that Schweinsteiger is horribly slow and has no place being a regular starter for United.

What a step down that would be for Gary Monk?

David Moyes is the favourite but again why would you leave a Spanish team that have a much higher budget and better players. Nigel Pearson is second favourite followed by Brendan Rodgers.

United are getting way too much stick for the result, City are just as much to blame.

Klopp loves a draw.

Draw specialists :D Meh this season is going to be a tough one, we're impotent in the final third.

Villa have the 10th biggest wage budget in the league and would definitely pay him more than Sociedad. Can't see either him or Rodgers wanting to come in at this stage though.

I reckon Nigel Pearson will be Aston Villa's next manager but if Brendan Rogers gets it that would be an unbelievably quick turnaround for him.
Methinks Bournemouth need a new goalkeeper :(

God he was awful, what was he doing with some of those simple balls - just kept flapping them away!

Remi Garde is odds-on favourite for Villa. I have to say I hadn't realised he'd left Lyon in the summer, would have been a huge step down otherwise. He'll have a good insight into their Ligue 1 imports and is clearly a good coach.
I wonder if Mourinho will complain about the referee not blowing his whistle for half-time before Coutihno scored?

Hmm, I think I'll go for a Yes on that one
