Blame the owners. Sooner we get rid of them the better.

I don't think you can blame your owners for your shit support. You can blame them for being a yo-yo club, though.

Happy to see Hull return to the prem, didn't watch the match but I assume it was your typical cagey 1-0 play-off which seems to be the norm.

Best play-off final I've seen was the Swansea-Reading match, of course it helped living in Swansea at the time!

lol

Disappointed that Sheffield Wednesday couldn't make it to the Premier League but I suppose we'll just have to make do with same old same old Hull again.

The shit support is in protest. There's a reason our average attendance is at a 12 year low, our owners. They could pump as much money in as they wanted but when they start treating the fans like they don't matter to the club and deliberately doing things to piss us off then that's when we see empty seats, both at the KC Stadium and at Wembley.

Don't get me wrong, I'm completely embarrassed at the empty seats in our end, but to say it's because of our "shit support" and not our owners, you obviously don't realise what's happening at Hull.

The "membership scheme" that they're doing next season is the straw that broke the camel's back for us; not charging concession prices, so the cost for an adult and two children nearly doubles from £400-500 to upwards of £900 for the season.

lol

Yes you will. :P

I know you are unhappy with your owners, but I didn't know there was a protest in all honesty. 25k is still embarrassing, though. A Championship play-off final should be considered a massive game for a club like Hull, but I guess it's beneath you now.

I wonder if your 'fans' would still protest if you're pissing the Premiership like Leicester, I doubt it somehow. :P

Hull only sold 25k, that's pretty poor really. Wednesday sold their full allocation of just under 40k, and they weren't given anymore for some reason. There were loads of empty seats in the top tier which were left unsold in the Hull end.

The attendance for the Bristol City v Hull play-off final was 86,703, and Hull easily sold their allocation. I know it was a bit of a different situation then as they hadn't been in the top flight before, and the Wembley novelty factor has probably worn off bit now, but that's a big drop in attendance. I know there are a number reasons why Hull only took 25k, but It's still a poor effort overall.

I completely disagree. Nothing winds me more up in football then day trippers, those people that don't attend games or support the clubs all season, but as long as big game turns up they'll happily go. I'm sure Wednesday had a lot of those. Plus they have been there several times over the past 8 years. But it's also bloody expensive, especially for northern clubs. The transport factor means that unless you car share, or somehow book train tickets months in advance you're likely to be paying an absolute fortune. It's nor brilliant, but it's completely understandable.

Yeah it is annoying. It's partly because of those plastic fans/prawn sandwich brigade why tickets are so expensive now.

I can see Hull along with Burnley both only lasting one season and being relegated together again.

Burnley will definitely go straight down, they always do! Hull might narrowly stay up and then get relegated in the 2017/18 season.

Oh I totally agree, the empty seats yesterday was bad enough but I was cringing when there was a pitch invasion after LOSING 2-0 in the second semi-final. :drama:

It's not beneath us mind, I'm sure if the Allem's actually respected the fans then we would have sold our allocation as we did against yourselves!

I also agree that some of our fans probably wouldn't be protesting. I imagine some will as I would hope they have enough self-respect (having said that, the said pitch invasion worries me).

And sorry, that wasn't meant to sound catty about the "not knowing what's happening" remark.

No worries, Oliver. I didn't think your comments were particularly catty to be honest.

Anyway, let's talk about the football. You deserved to win yesterday, and what a brilliant goal it was (better than that Dean Windass one!). :puke2:

How do you think you'll do next season?

An great achievement from Steve Bruce to wins promotion from the Championship to the Premier League for the 4th time. Well done to Hull City.

I think Hull City will finish around 15th-16th.

Speaking purely selfishly, Hull going up is probably better for Brighton. I think they would be a bigger threat next season than Sheff Wed. If Newcastle continue their late season form, they must be favourites to go up, so that leaves only one more automatic place to fight for.

I think Sheffield Wednesday will do ok again next year. Newcastle should on paper absolutely destroy the league. I think they might have a rough start then absolutely blast it from 2016. It will be competitive again next season, Brighton/Newcastle/Derby/Norwich/Sheffield Wednesday and that's without taking any others in yet. The play-offs are a complete lottery, but for me, experience of them always counts. I would like to see Brighton in the Premier League.

And Garry Monk has gone to Leeds. Worst decision he'll ever make that's for sure.

I don't know. He'll be lucky to last a year, but I'm sure he'll make a bob or two out of it.
