I was going to say Stacey should maybe have the miscarriage, it would have given her a big storyline at least. But she's already aborted one baby and she's had her share of misery too. Plus that episode was perfect so as much as I want Shabnam to be happy and grow and change as a person with her baby, I'm pleased it's happening because Rakhee's acting has been nothing short of outstanding.

What an unexpected delight Bonnie has been :wub:

She's been 100% better than she was in Doctor Who where she just pantomime acted and screamed her way through every episode. Good to know she's learned how to act over the last 25 years.

Such a good episode and a strong performance from Rakhee! It's funny to think back to when people didn't warm to her taking over the role, but now I couldn't imagine her not playing Shabnam!

I have to say I didn't enjoy Thursday's episode much, the "Kush being angry at Masood and chasing him around the square" thing seemed very forced.

Her acting was outstanding, I was teary when she was talking to the baby on the bench :cry:

Did anyone notice Lee making a nuisance of himself with Tracey in the Thursday episode lol? He was lifting her arms up and down while she was at the bar. :kink: Very blink and you miss it.

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but did anyone notice the continuity error in Friday's episode of Martin almost saying that Sonia had diet coke when she was pregnant, despite the fact she didn't ever realise she was pregnant at the time?

Was it not just that Sonia had diet coke? I think it's just an assumption that all women drink diet coke because many do.

He said "when she was.... never mind" or something similar, I think he was implying "when she was pregnant" because obviously Stacey is also pregnant now but we couldn't tell obviously unless he finished the sentence!

Then it would be an error because even Sonia didn't know. Unless she's been pregnant since? It wouldn't surprise me if there's a little Fowler running around that Martin and Sonia haven't introduced yet since they'd be ignoring it like they do with the daughter of theirs that we know about.

 

Yet they did remember to mention that Martin 'didn't get to do all this with Bex'.

Yeah still an error but he could have meant something else, they should have just left it entirely because people are naturally going to assume it's a gaping continuity error. I never notice these things but I was like "um... what?"

I like to think i'm a very tough person, but I was in tears after that.

It was an incredible episode with amazing acting from all involved. I was almost in tears, which rarely happens when watching TV for me.

Very emotional, the waterworks came running, it must have been so hard for the actors to act with a dummy though. Kush at the end was brilliant when he was on his own. The scene really touched me.
