I'm actually surprised at how well DBM is handling this storyline so far. He has a tendency to over act usually but he's been great.

Jean and Stacey bounce straight off each other Jean to return with Olly full time would love to see more of Olly he was good and him and Jean go well together :wub:

 

110% agree with all of this. Jean in particular needs to return full time.

I have always been a fan of Jean and i honestly believe they need her back, Stacey and Jean together on screen works so well and she does come out with some great lines.

I really hope Stacey doesn't listen to Martin, I'm also 100% on board with Jean coming back, if Stacey does keep the baby I'd imagine Jean would want to move back to be closer to Stacey and her grandkids especially just after it's been born, there's your opportunity for Jean's return EE :wub:

I would welcome a Jean return, but with Ollie, Jean's return needs to be a happy one and leave her with happiness. The character or Ronnie has been destroyed with the continuous infliction of misery, i would dislike this to happen to Jean.

If I was the writers I would have gone for Abi as she has ties technically with Beales, Brannings and Mitchell's. Its predictable to go with Ben because he murdered Heather. Plus it could of meant Paul and Ben go down the affair route tbh. That would have been a good storyline IMO.

Caught up on last night's ep on iPlayer last night and I thought it was pretty excellent! Was so sure the arrest was going to be Max due to his year out, but it makes sense to go with Ben and hopefully it'll give some insight as to what him and Jay were actually doing the night Lucy died. I thought Ben running from the police referred back to when Phil was running from them back in early 2005 *takes fan hat off*. Loved the duff duff too.

I'm guessing Jay & Phil were doing something to do with Kathy? Perhaps this is her return storyline.
