I guess it would be handy to have an Apple Music Chart Thread as well, now that's running (presuming they will be doing charts of course, I haven't actually used it yet) ~

will be interesting to see how different it is to the Spotify chart

It should be interesting how much boost Taylor will get with her 1989 singles and album. Won't do much this week, but the amount of impact should be interesting in the next few weeks. Apple Music will obviously have a big of an impact as Spotify and Deezer (which is huge in France). Looks like TIDAL is fading further and further away.
If anyone have already an experience of Apple Music just post it, I'm curious. I will download the new iOS a bit later

It's all looking very good to me, so many features it'll take time to get used to!

There are already some differences between the streaming charts and the iTunes chart, here's a few examples. However, the position increases are just because some songs aren't yet available on Apple Music such as the Kendrick version of Bad Blood.

Fifth Harmony - Worth It

#104 on iTunes, #87 on Apple Music

Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

#51 on iTunes, #41 on Apple Music

Birdy - Wings

#28 on iTunes, #23 on Apple Music

It remains to be seen whether the streaming chart and iTunes chart will be the same (and therefore combined) or separate!

Taylor Swift will rise like a phoenix

Would you like me to add the Apple Music chart to the eyes only thread?

We'll have to wait and see whether the Apple Music chart starts becoming different to the iTunes chart (and not just because of unavailable tracks) I think!

Ryan, where do you see the chart?

Edit: I've found it. How can I see other countries' charts?

Probably won't be possible until the iTunes version of Apple Music is released as I don't think there's a way of changing country on the phone.

But yeah the chart is under the "New" tab for anyone else who can't find it! :D

Yep on the phone/Pad version it's not possible. Hopefully it will be on the iTunes version, or if not, a third party site could reveal it for us. Right now I can only see the German chart :D

Fabolous to see videos too. I think no other streaming sites have videos or am I wrong?

My first video was Lena - Traffic Lights btw :D

Spotify definitely don't have videos, I'm not sure about the others. I think Tidal have videos but Google don't, but I haven't tried the latter two to know.

Great first video choice!

I know :kink:

I think you and Umi were talking about Traffic Lights in the German Chart Thread and introduced me with that. I definitely love it now :D

Haha yes, we are obsessed with Lena!
 there seems to be some notable single versions of songs not available on apple music like 'cheerleader' and 'bad blood', although there is a random compilation version of OMI (not top150) and the 1989 version for Taylor (#41)~
Yeah there are a few missing which is what is creating the slight differences in the two charts, I'm sure it is just teething troubles and they will appear shortly!
How many pre-release tracks are on there, yesterday i noticed the Fifth Harmony song but not Charlie Puth- "Marvin Gaye" or David Zowie song

Charlie isn't on the chart within the Apple Music app as its not available at the moment unfortunately.

There seem to be some pre-release tracks on there but not as many as Spotify yet, but I suspect they will appear over the next few days!

Does anyone have a link for the Apple Music streaming chart or would someone be able to post the chart here?

It's the same as the iTunes chart, the only differences being if a song in the iTunes chart isn't available to stream, then all the songs below it move up one in the Apple Music chart.

I wonder if they haven't started incorporating streaming data into the iTunes chart yet as nothing seems to have changed out of the ordinary, maybe it's a similar reason as to why Apple Music streams don't seem to be present in the official chart yet.
