She's sold about 11,000 in total, across four weeks. 8,000 was needed for top 75 last week. Do the maths.

 

 

I said if it got some passing promotion etc like if G Norton mentions it tomorrow etc.

If the album sells 20,000 or more this week, i would say it is a great result. The following week is the last chance she has to pick up sales for at least another year.

I also give up.... its the song I skip every time I play the album.... 1m 52secs long.....

 

I heard that Parlophone are fuming the album didn't get top 10 and expected it to go top 3 and stay top 10 throughout campaign- hahahaha that is one thing that has made me happy. utter crap

 

the standard album has moved from 39 too 23 today on its price reduction...... just watch them put it back up tomorrow.... zzzz

I honestly don't know how many times you need to be told not to double post unless you actually have something worthwhile to say. Moaning yet again about the

album and spreasing idle gossip with nothing to back it up is not worthwhile.

I understand the need to perform already known songs but could she please perform '100 Degrees' or 'Every Day's Like Christmas' in the UK at least once? :(

The only place now would be if she got a slot on Text Santa which is very doubtful.

the thing is all these well known generic songs already have good/well known versions for years and years so not likely to choose Kylie's versions. Her original stuff is much better

 

and the funny thing when she did go live and sing Only You and Everyday on Radio 2 is when she got the big sales of her album.....

She is singing 2000 miles on J Bishop and Let It Snow....

 

but 2000 Miles is iconic to Pretenders.... so if you like the song you really are as a casual fan going to download their version....

 

She needed to take a risk and sing a few of her new songs... that's how you create new Christmas classics ...... I mean supposedly Parlophone made a big deal to ask SAW to remix it EDLC etc, she put a cringe worthy video out... Chris Martin should have kept it for himself........

 

Its like using Enrique and Pharrel on KMO.... these names do not sell albums by themselves..

 

The albums have finally been reduced on Amazon but who will buy? Unless you have prime then they are unlikely to get delivered before Xmas.

 

Sales are ok for this album but I would think with many Kylie fans buying multiple fomats I don't think it has attracted many casual fans at all.....

I'm happy with how this album has done to be honest, my prediction from the very outset was missing the top 10 but hopefully outselling Kiss Me Once and it looks set to do that with ease.

Nice to see streaming of Only You improved remarkably yesterday worldwide, sadly still not in the UK top 200 streamed songs . Now has 1,089,000 streams worldwide

 

Album holding up well on ITunes at the moment 28 and 41 with quite a few EPs and weird compilations ahead of her
