Roar is the closest thing to a dud in the entire 2013 top 10! Such a great year for music towards the top end.
Daft Punk's sudden success with this and the new album was another of the most unexpected chart happenings of recent years, still absolutely amazing tho, never even got old despite the Kiss' BEST ATTEMPTS. True modern classic.

1. Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines (feat. T.I. and Pharrell)

Now very much infamous both for allegations of rapeyness leading to it being banned in some locations and a frivolous lawsuit that has potentially set a very dangerous precedent for the music industry. However, this was undeniably the defining hit of 2013 and we seem to have forgiven Robin as he's back in our top 10 right now. WD.

Would have been better if "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines" switched places. "Get Lucky" by far the best song of 2013 to involve Pharrell, followed by "Happy" 2nd and the awful "Blurred Lines" last

I hand song posting duties over to Dobbo for the final hour ~ (well, aside from the 3 hours of standard chart show after all this YTD stuff of course).
Thank you bré! Some of these will still be very fresh in the mind of course but there are some real dance gems to look forward too :)
Why is it that every compilation "Blurred Lines" is on, they always seem to cut off T.I.?

20. Calvin Harris - Summer

Chart Run: {1}-2-4-7-10-11-15-17-16-16-15-17-23-23-24-28-33-35-42-44-51-55-58-61-66-72-64-52-63-73->30

I hope with 2014 they actually post the official YE top 20 rather than that weird one they posted last year which didn't seem to correspond to the official one at all (Plus Let It Go should have it's wrongful position in that righted ;o)

hmmm #1 of 2014 :thinking: its on the tip of my tongue I've forgot -_-
