10 years this week since this debuted at #26! Deserved so much better, I preferred this to Cheryl's first solo track at the time. What was the context around Nadine signing with Tesco(!) to launch her solo career? Surely the 'best' singer of Girls Aloud wouldn't struggle to sign to a proper label?

I liked insatiable but i wanted to like it more and was expecting so many greater things for Nadine as a solo artist.

As far as I can remember, Nadine had initially signed a deal with Geffen in 2009 or maybe early 2010, but for some reason it didn't work out. I seem to remember the reason given was that Nadine wanted more artistic freedom by having her own label. I guess the management she had at the time considered that a Tesco exclusive deal would be lucrative for her, without anticipating that it would be restrictive and come across as a bit of a joke  It was crazy that the album wasn't even made available to download! It didn't make it way onto iTunes until some years later.

I don't mind Insatiable (the song) but I can't help but think she'd have had better songs at her disposal if she'd stuck it out with Universal/Geffen. We'll never know what could have been!

It's a shame that her one moment with a major label (Go to Work, with Virgin Records) didn't do much for her. It was just too late by then.

Signing with Tesco was always a huge mistake and i felt that from the second i heard it, if she had gone with a label such as geffen she would have had a better chance of having a few hit singles i think and a much more successful album.

By the way, here's all the Girls Aloud releases anniversaries that have occurred since the last one I posted (which was Love Machine)

This! I remember 'Something Kinda Ooooh' playing on the radio all the time and I can still recall that feeling I felt whenever I heard it. Still remains one of their best! I even like the video.

Biology was released 15 (yes, fifteen!!) years ago :drama:  Forever incredible:

And today is 16 years since I'll Stand By You :o

I always liked their version of stand by you, i know its not hugely popular and in the opposite im not a huge biology fan despite most fans loving it.

So many throwbacks this months, our girls certainly loved a November release!

17 years since Jump today. Where has the time gone?? I also saw some pictures of them at the Love Actually premiere, which was exactly 17 years ago as well, and I got so many nostalgic feelings.
