Just because everyone thinks it's made up doesn't mean it was made up. The email came from someone very close to Leona so obviously there was alot of praise. The email was LONG af so I only took bits here and there. I don't have the time to make something up like that, I wouldn't even dare lol.

 

And tbh I don't even know what "to fit in with a dog eat dog" means in that email........

I think this song could work well on BBC Radio 1's playlist, but I highly doubt they'll support it. Can't wait to hear the full version!

From the previews, Thunder sounds better. But I'll wait to hear the full song before giving proper judgement.

I've only just heard the clip, it sounds solid enough but again a bit underwhelming. It reminds me of Emeli Sande's Daddy, which was a bit of a wrong choice of single although I really like it!

I know what you mean - it isn't one of my favourites too. I think the label are pushing 'Thunder' to become a US hit first before releasing it in the UK so they are going to go with something else in the meantime. 'I Am' isn't bad by any means but I think Island are just prioritising selling the album in the UK first which 'I Am' should do.

I just hope that "I Am" will be able to get support from the likes of Heart/BBC Radio 1, although it seems highly unlikely. :(

I don't see Radio 1 getting on board, but heres hoping I Am appeals to Heart. I hope they didn't play FUMF simply because they didn't like the song rather than them just being over Leona.

I don't think Heart are over Leona considering they still play "Run"/"Bleeding Love" regularly.

I am worried by this decision but I am hope Island know what they are doing. Personally, would rather see Thunder pushed in all territories rather than a dual release. Based on the snippet I am sounds alright, but it doesn't wow me which is kinda what Leona needs to catch the british publics attention again.

Exciting! I hope they give the premiere to BBC Radio 1 to try and get them on board with the song. It sounds like something they would support, much more than "Fire Under My Feet".
