This is a great pop song, as I've remarked elsewhere to you it sounds like something The Saturdays would have smashed with in their heyday. I'm not surprised it thumped the competition. Thanks Rich! January 15, 20232 yr Author 151 // Nabihal Iqbal - Zone 1 to 6000 Summericia are proud to enter our auto qualifier entry Nabihal Iqbal with the 'Zone 1 to 6000' which production wise has been compared to 'West End Girls' by the Pet Shop Boys, she gives off M.I.A. and slight RAYE vibes to me as well and also Real Lies a bit too. It's an interesting track I think and the video is very captivating too with shots of her running down the London streets. A quick wikipedia research also tells me she helped lend herself to SOPHIE's earlier material too. She also does radio shows for BBC Asian too! ZtplNd_XVak
February 2, 20232 yr Author Another win :o My 3rd one overall and first back to back *.* thanks all who shoved points my way especially thanks to Fljovatik, Pestolia, FSR Rontvia, Rolloland, Utopia? & someone else (memory has gone already). Really thrilled to finally get an more diverse sounding entry win as well. It's been an extremely positive month throughout not just BJSC but elsewhere on the site bagging an award (first in 14 years) and mod role. Feels like a lot to be grateful for right now all round. It also means I have the distinction of having another another AQ too *.* so I'll get searching for another good one hopefully. Also I have agreed to hosting.. some part of it anyway so keep your eyes pealed!

I wouldn't have expected you to prefer to Nabihah tbh but it is a good throwback to the old days x especially with the headphones, Furby and other late 90's/00's items lol. Top 10 is more than I would have predicted after hearing the songs entered this month tbh but a welcome one at that and joining Carameldansen in the 10th place club. Atm I don't know if I have anything to enter to keep my streak up but usually something falls into my lap suddenly so we'll see! Was tempted to drop out at 17 Q's tbh and have a break regardless but I guess the mystery of when I do DNQ is an intriguing one for myself too lol so might just continue playing along also x

Well I was never really that sure after attending the listen through so pleased it was to reach the final in the end. -- However it did come bottom 10 for us which is the first time we've been there since January last year so in a way its been good to Q and avoid that area for so long! Now it's getting tense trying to keep this streak going as I'm two months away from 2 full years of not getting a DNQ at all. The PRESSURE!

What a rocky start with all those bottom 5/10's up until the past 12 months or so minus this contests where I returned to bottom 10!

Its already been a top 3 hit in my personal chart and isn't one I've drifted from too much. Still sounds banging to me. We are slotted in semi 2 and hope this continues as it doesn't sound like a flop to my ears.
