With the tories winning Brexit is closer than ever.

Brexit will cause a rift in Europe thus weaken both the EU and the UK, the UK moreso than the EU but both will take a hit

They haven't won yet. Also how will Brexit cause a rift? Donald Tusk said recently they'd remain good friends with us and Boris and other ministers have said the same thing.

Someone should now ask Boris then, was it a letter, phone call, email or what and see what his answer is.

Except Johnson doesn't do interviews.

Well I mean if someone bumps in to him this evening.

Oh and he does SOME interviews. Busy running the country. Hasn't time to do them all as he was Tweeting the other day. Or someone was on his Twitter.

Did anyone see Boris Johnson hiding in a fridge with the rest of the gammon this morning, just to avoid an interview on live TV?

Pathetic excuse for a man he is.

I think it was great that he had a go at being a milkman. Hard job, getting up early and those crates aren't light either. :)

Running the country? Leaving aside the fact that "ruining" would be more apt, he's spent most of the last six weeks electioneering. When will you accept that Johnson simply doesn't do accountability?

So, seconds after you say he has been busy running the country, you come up with this.

I just think it was nice to see him getting hands on with what isn't an easy job as my uncle did it for 50 years.

You seem to always be trying to catch me out. Posting here should be fun as well as serious but it's fast becoming less fun. :(

Well that's what he or one of his staff tweeted. I'll try and find it, think it was Monday. Said he was a bit busy running the country to do every single interview. That's what the PM does 365 days a year, 24 hours day, has to be available in case of an emergency.

He does Tweet himself, like Trump does, then says he's handing over to a staff member for so many hours or until morning

Not Bojo. The Bloat shut down parliament remember? You should remember that the PM SHOULD be someone who is always willing to be held accountable and to wprk hard. That's not lazy Bojo.

Btw, I thought you said your wife ripped up her polling card and said she wouldn't vote? So you can go any time tomorrow to the polling station. Best to go early to avoid rush hour and the queues.

Just saw this excellent piece on reddit - really puts what the Tories have been up to over the last year into perspective:

I really am reminded of the slow boiling frog analogy - where things change slowly, little by little, until the normal shifts. That person is bang to rights. If you'd told me in 2017 at their next election the Tories would be inventing assaults upon their politicians and spreading a fake 'Labour nanifesto' online that would have seemed like too much, yet, here we are and that's now documented reality.

Yeah I persuaded her to go with me. Told her women fought hard for their votes a century ago! You don't need your card. Am not going if it's pouring with rain though. If she's still off ill with her migraine may go in the day.

Imagine Labour were in power and hiding in fridges and refusing to do interviews. Would you and the sun and daily mail be excusing them? Would they be too busy, or would they be getting called cowards? You'd be screaming about it every five minutes.

If you don't mind Michael, I'd rather not imagine Corbyn and Labour in power. :)

If the Tories win this election, I really fear for what the next one will be like. Other parties may well decide that a constant stream of lies did the Tories no harm, so they might as well follow suit.

Well the DS lot all predict a Labour landslide at the next election after Boris has run the country in to the ground and with labour having a great new young dynamic female leader. :D

If Johnson wins a majority, I predict that he will be dumped within two years. It won't take long before he is seen as a serious liability by his party.

My guess is that he'd be very hard to force out.

No that's Christmas Steve. :D

No that'll be you for the rest of the month ;)

I'm not going to post much at all after Friday. Don't want to be accused of pushing people away. :(
