Even the two Prodigy tracks, shock exits from last year's final, can't muster enough to get back, Omen was last for a lot of these results, while Warrior's Dance comes 37th for a second year in a row. 'Takin' Back My Love' is often a track around this sort of area but this time I thought it was challenging for playoff status from the first half of the votes, alas it fell quite a bit from the midweeks and ends up 42nd. 35th, 34th and 33rd from last year fall out, again emphasising how entrenched 2009's top lot are if those are the AQs we lose, but we also lose She Wolf and The Loving Kind (victory against Girls Aloud hoetry :D). I'll take it getting a top 20 though, it might sneak into the top 200 this way. Kid Cudi, Dizzee Rascal, Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen also sustain new AQs. Some pleasing shakeups in this top 15 though, Jordin and Kelly sprang right ahead at the start of the week, even ahead of the eventual winner but were eventually held back to finish 6th and 7th as people who aren't fans of that sort of thing headed in. Untouched, Just Dance, In For The Kill and When Love Takes Over all hugely improving is a nice turn of events. 5 9 - Beyoncé - Halo 361 4 6 - La Roux - Bulletproof 383 3 4 - Lady Gaga - Poker Face 387 2 2 - Lily Allen - The Fear 425 1 1 - Lady Gaga - Bad Romance 613 Halo and Bulletproof improve year-on-year to head straight to the final. That's a very lovely development. Actually this is a comparatively well-changed top 5 compared to other year's we've had so far because of those two. Poker Face and The Fear complete the top 5 before we get to the elephant in the room. Nearly 200 points ahead of its nearest rivals, Bad Romance demolishes everything else yet again. That's a strong showing for it to keep its crown, but will it do so once we get to the final?
