I've got Lorde, LCD Soundsystem, Fleet Foxes and Perfume Genius coming up. Can't wait.

Saw Sampha, Kaytranada, Jamie xx, Solange and Frank Ocean at Lovebox last week. Such a good day, Solange was the absolute highlight though.

Just got Arcade Fire tickets for April 😍

So excited.

  • I’ve had such a good year for concerts so far! I’ve already matched my record for most in one year (2018) and will surpass that very shortly as I have a few more coming up (Diana Ross tomorrow!). I’v

  • 1 month later...

This year so far:

22/8: Lana Del Rey

26/8: Reading Festival (Muse/Charli XCX/Liam Gallagher/Blossoms)

I'm rly starting to get into going to concerts more often now <3 Lana was incredible as I've said about a thousand times on here anyway!

Reading festival was so so good, I loved it and I rly wanna go for the whole weekend next time *.* Muse were incredible as ever, Liam/Blossoms were shit and Charli was fab even though I only saw 20 mins but it looked like we weren't gonna be able to see any of her set so I was so glad with that! (Charli/HAIM/Halsey all clashed with Muse </3 but Liam finished early so we ran and saw some of Charli's set!). She legit did all my faves as well, that timing *.* (After The Afterparty, Boys, 3am, Doing It, the last 20 secs of break the rules *.*)

Gaga for the first time in Manchester on Oct 17 which will be a f***ing moment *.* I was gonna see Little Mix on Oct 19 in Glasgow but I never really cared that much about that one anyway and we decided we'd rather make a bit of a trip out of Gaga instead so sold them. Probably gonna cry for the first time in a concert when I see her  Katy Perry next June, also in Glasgow!

I'm also definitely gonna try and get tickets for Taylor and Zara (if she tours here) in 2018 and if Rih releases an album probably her as well, happy to accept anything you can give me to help pay for these x

Edited by Andrew.

I have 3 concerts coming up now which is the most upcoming I've ever hard  Lotti's friend who can no longer go is selling me her Gaga ticket so I am going to see her in Birmingham and will DEFFO cry. I have PVRIS in Nov and Lorde next month. Really looking forward to both as both smashed what I thought with their recent albums <3

When I get student loan I am 100% saving like £250 so I can see Taylor however much she charges for her tickets (I have a feeling she is gonna take the piss but idc), because that absolutely 100% needs to happen and I'll go on my own idc. Then of my faves I only need to see Kelly and Selena, I can imagine the former touring in 2018 tbh.

I'm seeing Little Mix in Cardiff on the 30th of October. I've got the Super Star Soundcheck VIP Package. :D

I can't f***ing wait!

I'm just sitting here patiently waiting for October to see Zara!
Have to do Reading next year with the boy, as long as it don't co-incide with our wedding!.

Got 4 gigs coming up.

The National

Julien Baker

Brand New x2

I think these are possibly my three most favourite bands/artists so I am overwhelmingly excited.

The National are brilliant, my fiancee converted me to them and is planning on dragging me along to a gig. He's taken me on a few already.

We have quite a vinyl collection in the flat, about 95 percent of what he plays is on the format!.

Yeah they're really good. Looking forward to Sleep Well Beast coming out - ordered it on vinyl!

Just done the same!! :cheer: . Last few albums did well, hopefully this can keep up the momentum. I used to really like Bloc Party, but in recent years they've gone a bit stale, but with The National each listen is different from the last.

Also bought Rose Ellinor Dougal's album "Stellular" on vinyl from a local store who ordered it for me. She was in The Pippetes who I found too cheesey for my liking, but this album sounds like Stereolab and other experimental bands, with a bit of Dubstar thrown in. Was recomended it by a friend at work who goes to the store often.

Think I'll ask my fiancee tomorrow if I can rip his National vinyls to MP3 format, so I can listen to them on the go. Even hearing that crackling sound from the stylus beats polished up perfect CD sound.
