It amazed me they're still giving Example support years after he was even vaguely relevant.

Isn't Shaggy being A-Listed proof enough that who they consider relevant/irrelevant is just horse twaddle?

Cool for the Summer is gonna be a hit, isn't it? :puke:

I;m affraid it is :(

Re Tame Impala I'm surprise they playlisted them at all.

Great to see Calvin in the Alist, really enjoying it. It bodes the question Calvin is nearly always going to be an A list artist on radio 1 because he's such a big name and this track was OAOS so why would radio 1 not just add the track straight into the A list? Just a thought....

Kind of, but I mean the continued support for him still rather than a flukey one-off like I'm sure Shaggy will be.

I just realised that they didn't add Felix Jaehn - I would have thought that was a definite for this week! There's no way they would snub it would they?

Yeah but I'd imagine this is the last era of his they'll support. Similarly I think they'll stop supporting Professor Green when he releases new stuff.

Great to see Rachel too! Nice to see that she'll have a bit of a 'Heartbeat Song' type of hit on her hands.

Personally I thought exactly this about his last two eras  His relationship with Radio 1 is incredibly resilient.

Not quite sure how long All Time Low were on the playlist for this time but I'm pretty sure their previous two singles were on the A-list for AGES whereas 'Runaways' was playlisted for what seemed to be no time at all.

Again, not sure how long exactly it was playlisted, but Sia's 'Fire Meet Gasoline' seems to have been booted off very quickly. Sad that Tame Impala have gone too.

'Peanut Butter Jelly' is the only new addition I like really. Boo at the god awful 'Good For You' and 'Marvin Gaye' moving up.

YES go on Galantis. Relieved to see Rachel being added as well, although I haven't been following how it's been doing recently. Nice to see 5SOS on the A-List despite it probably being god-knows-where on the charts now.
