I finally heard Drag Me Down and it sounds almost Maroon 5-esque which for me can't be a bad thing, like it's said above how their release was handled is a true triumph and shows OA/OS can work during the streaming era.

I'm interested this week how well Joe Stone and Silento chart. To me Silento was written all over as a massive number one so its underperformance is pleasing. I'd also love Shaggy to reach the top 40

Agreed - this strategy wouldn't work for all artists but props to them and Calvin Harris for having the bravery to release OA/OS and to stick two fingers up at Capital. :D

My first post after browsing for years!

Bit of a funny week however I do like the One direction song. Worthy no 1.

In the BBC Radio 1 interview, Liam said that #DragMeDown has a mix of The Police, Maroon 5 and Avcii vibes to it.

There is loads of missing data nothing new there, rest of the chart will be online after 6pm on OCC, just click on the links when the time comes, I'm outta here for now.

OMG!! This weekend only??? And missing streams?

JESUS.

omg at Calvin Harris climbing again! should be top 3 as it'll overtake Ella Sigmason with streams

hoping Joe Stone is top 10 in the mids, seems unlikely that he'll stay there for the final chart sadly if he isn't top 5 though

1D made Spotify frozen for the weekend

Avicii you say?

Now I'm listening (literally )

With streaming 1D at least have 10k more sales. Glad for them, great song and I do like OA/OS.
3 Ella feat. Ella Henderson (16k)
Ella Henderson featuring Ella Henderson - Glitterball (feat. Ella Henderson, Ella Henderson & Ella Henderson) [Rap Version] :kink:

Without having heard the song, I'm glad 1D are preventing another low sales default 3-4 week #1. A bit surprised Joe Stone & Silento aren't top 5 with their pre-orders. I thought releasing Silento this week would be a pretty bad idea when I saw it since it hasn't really had any airplay yet, and so far that seems like the case. Capital have played it a couple times in the last few days though so maybe it'll be able to climb (like it would have were it actually released [or not deleted?] months ago).

Joe Stone's version of TIHWDI doesn't deserve to outpeak the original

That last part isn't ENTIRELY accurate according to a certain member on here who has links to Capital...
