At the #5 spot is my personal favourite Kelly Clarkson single "My Life Would Suck Without You" , released in January 2009 as the lead single from her 4th album "All I Ever Wanted". After the controversy that surrounded her last album, which sadly suffered from low sales, despite being fantastic. This was seen as a return to commercial form. The head of RCA Clive Davis hired the songwriting team behind her previous successful hits and came up with this. But in it's original form the song was almost completely different which Kelly hated, so worked on it and changed it up, producing this masterpiece of fantastic pop, which saw her return to the top of the charts, entering the US charts at #97, then shooting up to the #1 spot, becoming the biggest climb in chart history and becoming her 2nd chart topper in 7 years, as well as becoming her first UK #1, her highest charting hit in 4 years. Internationally it was just as successful by topping the charts in Canada and Hungary, top 5 peaks in Sweden, Israel, Netherlands, Australia, Ireland and Swiss, then top 10/20 peaks in several other countries. I am so glad that this did so well here, as I instantly fell in love with it, just as she soars into the chorus, making an instant classic moment.

'My Life Would Suck Without You' is my second fave Kelly song now, with SUBG, BOY & 'Gone' just behind. I know a lot of people seem pretty bored of it or whatever, but I still have to listen to it repeatedly whenever I hear it once! So infectiously catchy, joyous and such a brilliant pop number!

I don't listen to it a lot, but it really is an excellent pop song.

"My life would suck without Kelly"..One of my favourite songs ever! I was so addicted to this song when it was released..

Out of the 4 left, I just hope Stronger doesn't win. I've never clicked with that song (or anything from that era) but BOY, SYBG and BTHE are KC's Holy Trinity of songs.

Any of the remaining winners would be fab but I think BOY and BTHE are both firmly in my top 5 of all time :o So one of those please. Tbh all of that tp 5 are in my top 75 ever.

As we draw closer and closer to the top spot, and this is where things get really serious as yet another iconic classic bows out, the ever brilliant, the ever amazing "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" which bows out at the #4 position leaving the holy grail final 3 left. Released in January 2012 as the 2nd single from her 5th album "Stronger" , the song itself was originally titled "What Doesn't Kill You" and originally it was meant for Leona Lewis, but turned it down and then was sent to Kelly's record company in demo form, which she altered some of the lyrics as well as changing the music, and the song was also inspired by the Friedrich Nietzsche adage ("That which does not kill us makes us stronger"). Upon release it received instant praise, meaning that she would have to release it or all won't be forgiven, and turned out to be the right choice as it became her 3rd US chart topper for 3 weeks, surpassing the success of the lead single "MKIA" and became an instant smash worldwide by topping the charts in Slovakia and top 5 peaks in Canada, Hungary, Czech Republic, Ireland, New Zealand, along with top 10 peaks in Austria, Lebanon, Denmark, UK (becoming her biggest selling single with over 500,000 copies sold), Israel, Netherlands, Spain and Finland. On here despite receiving just 1 11, it still managed an impressive 25 10's, which is more than any other song in this countdown, even from the start it was destined for a top 5 placing here.

I've always found "My Life Would Suck Without You" to be overrated, it's not that strong a pop song for me.

 

"Stronger" :( "Since U Been Gone" NEEDS to win now, it's so much better than the other two imo.

That's without question the strongest run of 3 singles ever tbh. All are a solid 20/10 but BTHE edges it as my fave!

A really predictable and slightly overrated top 3.

Was hoping it would be top 3 but never mind.
