I like the album, I feel as though the first half of the album is much better than the second part though. No Way sounds so much like a song I've heard in the past, but I can't put my finger on what it is.

This is such a fantastic pop record. So many great songs and potential singles, can really see this era lasting quite a while and having many chart hits actually. This is my first listen rate:

09.0 That's My Girl

11.0 Work From Home

08.5 The Life

05.0 Write On Me

08.0 I Lied

10.0 All In My Head (Flex)

09.0 Squeeze

07.0 Gonna Get Better

08.0 Scared Of Happy

08.0 Not That Kinda Girl

06.5 Dope

08.5 No Way

Such a massive step up from 'Reflection' which I thought was awful with the singles and a few tracks aside.

Just listened to the album. FIERCE AF! Love it so much, such a step up from Reflection, which I liked as well.

10l That's My Girl - One of my favs, the beat is fierce, and one I think I'll play a lot. Next single surely

11l Work From Home - Obvy flawless

10l The Life - Fantastic Summer jam

08l Write On Me - Really cute song that I'm enjoying at the moment, though I doubt I'll care for it as much in a few months time

07l I Lied - Parts I loved, others not so

09l All In My Head (Flex) - Love! Need some convincing on Fetty's parts though

10l Squeeze - Amazing, think it would make a great single

08l Gonna Get Better - Another cute, nice song

10l Scared of Happy - Really builds, perfect

10l Not That Kinda Girl - I think this will become my favourite. So fierce. Another potench single

09l Dope - Pretty f***ing dope

09l No Way - I loved the light and shade of this one

04l Worth It (no rap) - Pointless, and a clunky end to the album

album a solid 9 out of 10 for me, and i'm so here for the swearing in Not That Kinda Girl and Dope  :cheer:

Very good album. Although, I don't "love" it yet. A lot of the production is really clunky and a bit messy, but I'm sure I'll be able to look past that with more listens. But at least they've guven us 'Work From Home' and 'Flex'. I also think (as a fan of ballads) they need to work a bit more on their ballads, but ehhh, that'll come with time I guess. But yeah a good effort.

Hooks galore, it's all so catchy. My standouts on first listen were The Life and Squeeze. Didn't dislike anything but I think I'm going to care for Write On Me less than some of the others and I was initially unsure on Scared Of Happy.

Fetty is really off putting at the start of Flex, wouldn't be my choice of single tbh.

09.0 That's My Girl

11.0 Work From Home

07.5 The Life

06.5 Write On Me

08.0 I Lied

07.5 All In My Head (Flex)

08.0 Squeeze

06.0 Gonna Get Better

07.5 Scared Of Happy

03.5 Not That Kinda Girl

05.5 Dope

07.0 No Way

Had That's My Girl on repeat all day, can't wait to see what the video looks like once they release it

'That's My Girl' is good but it is just too much of a re-hash of 'Worth It' to be released just yet. 'All In My Head (Flex)' is the perfect second single choice, it is something fun, summery and that sound is so in right now.

The singles should defo go like this:

Work From Home

All In My Head (Flex)

That's My Girl

The Life

Squeeze (if The Life does well and there is still some life in the era)

Listening through this now and it's perfect so far, exactly the sound I wanted from them. I'm up to 'Squeeze' and wow I think that could be challenging That's My Girl as my favourite! It's so subtle, but it is absolutely beautiful and you can tell Kygo has had input into it. I'd love to see Kygo producing more pop tracks as Write On Me and Squeeze are both so gorgeous!

The Japanese Deluxe tracks are now out.

'Big Bad Wolf' is a f***ing tune. Would have loved to see it on the standard, can see it becoming one of my favourites of all.

Love this album! The only dud for me is 'Squeeze' so I'm surprised to see it as the favourite here, I think 'Write On Me' does the Kygo sound so much better. Not that I'd want them to go in that direction either.

Listening to the album has really made 'The Life' hit me aswell, that needs to be a single along with That's My Girl for sure.

I think the fact Squeeze is less obvious with the tropical house Kygo sound than Write On Me but still contains the little quirks that makes a Kygo song a Kygo song makes it slightly better or at least more out-standing of the two. But Write On Me would be in my top 5 on the album too, I just love that sound!

Squeeze is a massive highlight for me. All In My Head (Flex) & That's My Girl are both amazing too.

I really like The Life as well (but I'm not going back to it too much at the moment, due to overplaying it as an instant grat.)

1000 Hands, and Big Bad Wolf are amazing, really wish they were on every album! 1000 Hands is a really nice end to the album, and Big Bad Wolf is an utter jam
The Life & That's My Girl are 11/10 moments of music but the rest isn't really hitting me :( I'll give it another chance though!
This album's a lot better than I initially thought. Some of the softer moments are really special, like the lyrics for 'No Way' for example! 'Squeeze' and 'Scared of Lonely' are nice too <3 solid album (which I didn't expect in all honesty)!

I can't believe Lauren hyped up the Max Martin involvement though for nothing!

This album really is a huge step forward from Reflection! Whilst I liked that, this is a much more confident album, they've clearly found their sound and it's just great from start to finish.
