25. Off The Record (with Tinchy Stryder & BURNS) [24]

when calvin has lent a featuring hand to a track it has generally become a blockbuster - 'dance wiv me' spending 4 weeks at #1 in 2008 for dizzee rascal and of course the million selling 'we found love' spawning 6 non-consecutive weeks at the summit in 2011 as rihanna slayed all bases! sharing the bill on top2 hits with alesso & disciples... then there was a this rather forgettable collaboration with tinchy stryder, whose 15 minutes of fame was all but over, not even calvin's magical production powers could flog a dead horse resulting in a #24 floppagé and this competitions first casualty~

Merrymaking again for me!

 

As much as I hate Big Sean's rap in Open Wide I just prefer to listen to the instrumental version, C.U.B.A!

'Off The Record' was the right song to go first (although I didn't vote in the first poll).

 

'Ready For The Weekend' is the weakest of his own singles so voting for that, might take a bit longer to get rid of that though.

Going with 'Merrymaking at My Place' again, looks like that could actually go this time as well! 'Off the Record' would've been my next choice so glad that one has gone.

Off The Record is alright enough but doesn't even sound like a Calvin single & is nowhere near his usual standard.

Another one for Merrymaking At My Place here. At least it looks like we'll be able to push Open Wide to Round 3 (two rounds better than I expected!! :cry:)
