I'd rate higher entries like Luxembourg's as it showed research. Dumping a NF track just for the sake of it is just lazy and not really worth of points, as fab as the tracks may be. {Sorry Lee}

That Milki song is completely devoid of any personality (fits with the usual Aquafinian tripe impeccably) so if it does win, it will be a very sad day (probably neither a sunny nor a rainy one too - just nauseatingly bland and completely uneventful).

An Austrian dance instrumental sounds a lot more appealing to me.

Mozart sounds more appealing.

An album track by Trackshittaz sounds more appealing, etc...

Sending Mozart or Conchita would just be as uninspired as a NF reject imo. And I wasn't exactly sending songs that I'm iffy on over a song which I actually enjoy (the dance instrumentals were incredibly boring)

Just saying what my preference would be that's all. I get it that you sent what you liked best but I'd rather see other songs rather than Eurovision rejects, even if that meant sending Conchita's new #1.

btw how were the countries chosen for this? I'm a bit flabbergasted that there was no Turkey (which has a lot of great songs to choose from!) in the options at all but countries like Montenegro were in the mix.

As much as some of the countries are "difficult" (Malta sure was!), I do think it's interesting to have countries like Montenegro in the mix, which are probably not exactly known for their music, it makes it more interesting and challenging to find an appealing song. It definitely has been tough for a lot of people, but there's a certain element of excitement in that too.

Turkey was there, Jake picked it but didn't submit a song. It was Hungary which was forgotten about :drama:

She lives in England though as far as I know. I think I read somewhere that the artists entered here have to reside in the country they are representing. Also, she is probably too well known :lol:
