September 3, 201510 yr Err at the minus sales... poor Foals. :( It must be something to do with the iTunes 'complete my album' feature or something? How would that lead to negative sales? Judging by the fact Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' single has also registered negative sales, I'm guessing this is something to do with physical sales.
September 3, 201510 yr How would that lead to negative sales? I was thinking of the situation in America where the 'complete my album' function contributes negative sales for singles when they are attributed to the album sale instead. Not sure what the state of play is in the UK for this.
September 3, 201510 yr I was thinking of the situation in America where the 'complete my album' function contributes negative sales for singles when they are attributed to the album sale instead. Not sure what the state of play is in the UK for this. But here the albums had negative sales not the singles. I'm thinking a retailer gave wrong numbers for some new albums and now they have been corrected.
September 3, 201510 yr But here the albums had negative sales not the singles. Well technically Noel had negative sales - anyway whatever the cause it is bad news for Foals sadly.
September 3, 201510 yr Well technically Noel had negative sales - anyway whatever the cause it is bad news for Foals sadly. Oh I see that too... I'm guessing still a retailer gave wrong numbers for some physical releases that have been now corrected
September 3, 201510 yr Well technically Noel had negative sales - anyway whatever the cause it is bad news for Foals sadly. Noel's album came out months ago though :P I'm pretty sure the OCC don't do the 'complete my album causes negative sales' thing anyway, considering most album tracks CLIMB on the album release week.
September 3, 201510 yr Sigala are in the top 100, might just creep inside the top 75 in the singles chart tomorrow. That's the #1 sorted for the next 3 to 4 weeks :( plus its the only new entry, unless the new Kygo track with Ella Henderson drops tomorrow. :D Oh dear, Mirror Man will be back with a new alias -_-
September 3, 201510 yr plus its the only new entry, unless the new Kygo track with Ella Henderson drops tomorrow. :D It will! ;)
September 3, 201510 yr It must be something to do with the iTunes 'complete my album' feature or something? But it would have singles in minus, not albums? Maybe it was just a mistake with counting some sales twice from somewhere.
September 3, 201510 yr I'm guessing Ella also got impacted with negative sales, unless she really has sold just 600 copies yesterday and Tuesday!
September 3, 201510 yr If streaming is missing could that mean The Weeknd could potentially get #2? :o I'd never have called Demi missing the top 5 this time last week, not at all. Quite a shocker. Ella Eyre should maintain her #4 position then with decent enough sales, good going for her all things considered!
September 3, 201510 yr Demi Lovato missing the top 5  ouch at Foals falling behind Jess Glynne but yay for her album still selling lots :D
September 3, 201510 yr So Heart Attack remains her highest peaking single then :D Hoping Galantis stays top 15 and Labrinth stays out of the top 20. Sigala are in the top 100, might just creep inside the top 75 in the singles chart tomorrow. That's the #1 sorted for the next 3 to 4 weeks :yahoo: I corrected it for you ^_^
September 3, 201510 yr I hope Sigala can be a 3-4 week #1, as that is such a good song! I do have a feeling something will come along by its 3rd or 4th week though, we had no idea 1D were releasing and that Justin Bieber would do so well so an unexpected #1 could happen again on a dead week. It's at least guaranteed #1 next week though
September 3, 201510 yr Author I feel like Sigala might only manage one week even? Justin's streaming numbers are massive and his sales are holding up well too. Easy Love is giving me Marvin Gaye vibes right now, can see Justin possibly overtaking in week 2. Can't be sure though, we'll see in a week's time of course.
