Actually a genius choice for mason, so current! Wtf at Monica's though, so random. For a theme like "this is me" the songs should reflect the act more. Louisa's seems a bit weird too but I think she's good enough to sing anything <3
Suppose X-Factor can get away with performing songs that are quite new, again look at Fleur last year!

It's the Fleur East effect  Great choice for Mason.

Louisa's choice though... erm... ew. Bland af.

Mason and the groups stand out as being the best song choices for me!
Reggie N Bollie are down as singing Shaggy It Wasn't Me on the X Factor website. Unless they're doing a mashup of the two?
It definitely said Beautiful Girls when I looked earlier so must be a last minute change!

I copied the list from the X Factor website :P Could well have changed or have been a mistake in the first place, we'll see I guess!

Delighted that Kiera, my favourite act at this stage and the only one I see brimming with potential, is performing one of my favourite tracks of the last few years . Quite an inspired choice (though less so given Chloe introduced it to producers at auditions) and I can imagine her voice really doing it justice. Genuinely excited to hear her take on it! :D

Ché's 'Tears Dry On Their Own' also seems like it'll work extremely well, and 'Sorry' sounds perfect for Mason - it should give him a great shot at bolstering a (young) fanbase after all the controversy surrounding his return/selection.

I'm actually quite intrigued by Max doing 'Someone Like You', as he'll probably give it a more laid-back/reggae-inspired spin rather than going the obvious route with it.

...So entirely suitable for her in a 'This Is Me' themed week then.

This is why I'm convinced Louisa won't win or reach the final (assuming it is a 3 person final) as she's already singing songs which if she put out in the "real world" would not win her a fanbase or many sales/streams. Kiera and Monica have modern songs that they could release today and have a big hit with (assuming they do them well), Lauren and Louisa absolutely aren't. And then Lauren has the advantage of more likeability too, hence why I think she'll do better than Louisa.
Looking at that list, I'm expecting Che to be the standout of the week, what an amazing choice for him. Nick's got it spot on for all three of his acts there, from what I can see. Really liking Keira's choice aswell, think that'll do her wonders.
Bupsi Al Green Lets Stay Together

So in essence it will be just the Tina Turner version!

edit... I see it's changed above! Thank goodness for that...

Most excited for Alien Uncovered, 4th Impact and Kiera going by those song choices . Good song choice's for Mason and Che too.
I'd be excited for Ché if the exact version of Ain't No Mountain High/Tears Dry On Their Own wasn't sang by Jahmene Douglas in 2012 !The producers should be a bit more original.

Bupsi screams first boot with that choice, she needed something really high energy like Tina Turner and even then I think she'd be screwed!

I think it's a stretch to call what jahmene did singing!!

Some song choices:

GIRLS

Louisa - Billie Jean (betting it's the arrangement David Cook and Drew Ryniewicz have done on Idol and X Factor US respectively)

Monica - Crazy In Love (I think it will be the 50 Shades Version)

Kiera - Return of The Mack

GROUPS

4th Impact - Sound Of The Underground *.* / The Clapping Song

BOYS

Mason - Teardrops (Womack & Womack)

Seann - California Dreamin'

OVERS

Anton - All About That Bass (LMAOOOOOOOO wtf )

Max - Somewhere Over The Rainbow (bet it's Israel K version)

A couple of these seem really odd but as the theme is to reinvent a song it's fine really, they should be moulded to suit the artist enough.

Eek. Not sure about that choice for Louisa. I know I said that about last weeks choice, but it's a different kind of uncertainty. Hmm... we shall see! 4th Power though *.* Oh and I can see Max getting 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' back (?) in the top 20 on iTunes after his performance of it, if it goes as well as I imagine it would.

I'm guessing Seann will be doing California Dreaming in the style of the recent Sia cover then?

Great choices of song for 4th Impact and Louisa anyway, should certify them as my faves
