Yes Lauren, don't think anyone's ever performed that on UK Factor before which is always a big plus.

Pretty boring choice for Louisa but then we said that abut God Only Knows too - I'm sure she'll smash it! Perfect choice for Mason, I chose it for him the other week. The rest (apart from Lauren's which I've given my opinion on) I'm not fussed on - great choice for 4I in theory but it's getting a bit stale and they really could use a ballad so I'd have preferred Louisa to sing that. Che's song choice is boring, given him all these dated ballads is also getting stale.

Double elimination again apparently. This one's gonna backfire I think, one of the favourites could easily fall into the bottom 3. I'm guessing 4th Impact, hopefully not Louisa or Lauren! Could be Louisa with a dull song choice but I doubt it.

 

Hopefully just the obvious Anton/R&B/Mason bottom 3 happens, they're easily the weakest acts left and then I like the others.

I'm calling Mason out first.

Louisa vs Che on the sing off. Whoever survives makes the Final.

Before we even watch it, I reckon Mason, 4th Impact and Anton are all in the drop zone. The only 'sure' bets seem to Louisa and Che I reckon.

I think Lauren is more of a sure bet than Louisa now, people certainly mention her more when it comes to favourites when X Factor is discussed at work and among friends.

But Lauren is so... bland? As a vocalist anyway. There's nothing distinctive about her voice to me. She has a great voice, there's no denying that. But Robot got it spot on over the weekend when he said that Che gives one of the best vocal performances of last weekend and gets criticised for "just standing there and singing", whereas Lauren is praised to high heavens for doing the same thing?

 

I hope it's a Louisa, Che, Lauren & 4I final four. But for some reason, I reckon Louisa is in danger tonight (and will likely be a "shock elimination", because like you said, Lauren seems to have been gaining more support and they're kind of fighting for the same/similar audiences.

I agree with you, I don't think there is anything special about her at all. She reminds me of Lola from last year who was bland as despite having a decent voice. I just was saying that I have noticed people seem to take to her more than Louisa ... maybe because she's more relatable? I dunno.
