We are now live at the newly-furnished Aquatico Staduim here at New Beacon City, where 68 of you guys have entered to compete in the latest installment of Buzzjack Song Contest. It's such an honor to be co-hosting with past winners Aquafina and we'd like to thank them for this opportunity. Anyway, they, along with runner-ups Aeroche have auto-qualified for this contest and will progress to the final immediately. 33 of you are competing back at Aquafina in Semi-Final 1 while the rest of you... are stuck with me.

I really fear for my qualification now with most of the dancebloc in the other semi :(

I had a feeling someone would send 'Jitter'! I was considering sending it myself next month if it didn't turn up here. A little surprised at it being Fljótavík but there you go. A very good pop song, which of course means Joseph and Ryan don't like it. Boo.

 

Kiiara also turning up this time, was expecting her in the last contest! I have only listened to 'Gold' from her (which was also one of my potentials although one I had discarded by now) but yay for her appearing in some capacity.

 

And yet another former potential of mine in here with Slow Magic, very pleased to be in the same semi as them as this really MUST qualify :wub: Also very pleased to be in with D'yermak'er! Kind of expecting that to have no chance regardless but at least I can lend a swag hand ~

 

'Only' heard 8/32 songs already in here - and two of them were ages ago so I don't really remember - so it will be a fresh listen in comparison to the other semi. :D

 

I'm hoping my song has wide enough appeal to be safe regardless of how pop / indie the semi is.
