I prefer the Labyrinth Tour arrangement of 'Forgive Me' to the single version.

 

 

The music video is one of her best though.

How is thunder so high?

I enjoy 'Forgive Me', but it is pretty much just a lesser carbon copy of 'The Sweet Escape'.

 

'Thunder' I can't really get into, I find it bland and her voice is really whiny on it.

Cue powerful X Factor background music. ‘Footprints in the Sand’ was released as a double A side with ‘Better In Time’ at a time when the digital age was becoming more prominent, so it didn’t quite work, as people took to ‘Better In Time’ a lot more. But I feel like this has actually stood the test of time just as much as ‘Better In Time’, as it’s become a TV VT staple. It's a very powerful song, and something I class as iconic Leona.

Forgive me is rather fabulous and I never knew I See You was on the soundtrack of Avatar?! How stupid to not release it goddamn

Footprints in the sand is easily one of my favourite Leona tracks, stunningly beautiful :heart:

Her Dancing on Ice performance of it is one of my favourite Leona performances.

"Footprints In The Sand" is just stunning. Her live performances on tour in 2013 were just amazing.

'Footprints' gets far too much schtick usually. So I'm glad to see it being slightly more appreciated here. Such a gorgeous song. Very happy with what's left to come. 'I Got You' being this high is pleasing to see! :o Beautiful song. 'Better In Time' was always my favourite from 'Spirit' when I first listened to it, so I'm very glad to see that is still to come. The single mix is beautiful.

Footprints is schmaltzy and old fashioned, but THOSE VOX are just undeniable. It's just a fantastic ballad, sang brilliantly, what more could you want.

‘Collide’ is just another Leona song that should have been huge, but wasn’t. I actually think if this had been released a year later it would have done a lot better as a lot people knew who Avicii was by then. Slightly ahead of it’s time, but a banger all the same. It’s a shame there aren’t more songs like this in Leona’s discography. Much loved by Buzzjack Collide scores just under an 8 average, with some top scores and loads of 9s. But a silly amount of 6s from crazy people stop this from getting too close to the top 5.

 

So we have Bleeding Love, Better In Time, Run, Happy, I Got You, One More Sleep. Which song just missed out on the top 5?

Cameron -1 'Footprints In The Sand'? WHAT THE f***.

 

'Collide' would have done better has it been released a week or two later.

Footprints in the Sand is so beautiful; you have to experience it live to really appreciate it.

 

SyCo messing up the sampling of Avicii's Penguin is what led to the song's criminal under-performance; it really would have been the rebirth that Happy failed to fuel.

Forgive Me is so underrated, love it <3 Footprints is brilliant too, I'm a sucker for a big ballad like that. Collide is very good, easily the best thing Avicii has ever done but there is NO competition at all for that tbf.

A Moment Like This and Thunder should swap at the very least imo, and then we'd have the perfect top 10 I think!

IGY and BIT will hopefully be out next. Vanilla is too nice a description for them.

Collide should have been No.1 for weeks. I can't believe that it peaked at No.4.. :nocheer:

Collide is so limp. Outta My Head proved Leona can do an amazing uptempo, but that is just lifeless and dull and was a terrible single.
