I think the Motown sound will really suit them! The clip sounds good, I'm just a bit worried that OA/OS won't work for them... They have a fanbase moreso than say Rita Ora so they'll probably do better than her at least initially, and hopefully, fingers crossed, they can hold up as well!

This. That's why I like Black Magic because it's quite different from what the girls have done before :wub:

 

So heres a video of both previews combined! It's super catchy, but it's not as big as I imagined.

It's so different to what's around right now. Hopefully it'll work in their favour again. Seems to be exactly how Popjustice said it would be, they tend to over exaggerate a lot of the time. Excited for the full thing.

I quite like it on first listen although I'm not sure if it screams hit, unless it manages to do a StooShe's 'Black Heart'. I'm surprised they didn't play it safe with another big pop song, but it'll be interesting to see how it does.

I wasn't sold by the first chorus but it builds so well throughout the whole song and ends up feeling like such a classy yet catchy number. I'm not sure how this will fare, it is very much a Black Heart kind of feel and that did well, it's not a huge selling #1 like Black Magic but I think this sort of song would fit in well with a Heart audience and stick around for quite a while.

 

The preview worried me but as a whole song it works so well, ahhhh so glad I'm not disappointed!

I'm loving the sound of this! Enjoying the Motown influence. Looking forward to hearing this in HQ.

I really like it! Suits them so much. I can see this being another big hit for them! Another number 1? Maybe not, but a long running top 10 hit I reckon. HeartFM are gonna be ALL OVER THIS.

Absolutely loving this on first listen! Only thing I am not a fan of is the artwork, but that has been pretty inconsistent with both Black Magic and the album, so fr.

This sounds so perfect for the winter/build up to Christmas time!

 

It is quite a bit like 'Be My Baby'/'Black Heart' mashed up, with elements of 'Dedication To My Ex' in the backing track.

Had two listens and really like this! Definitely the best single #2 that they've had and miles better than "Hair"!
