Oh right, I didn't realise! I was under the impression that he'd bulk bought loads of them at a wholesaler's or something to do this in a vain attempt to get visibility on the iTunes chart.

And how were we supposed to know that? Most people thought he bought the trainers himself, which would make a 20:1 defecit (assuming the price of said trainers would be around £20)

I never said he was desperate, but the price of a pair of trainers by far outweigh 99p (I think I once saw a pair of trainers priced at £100).

But anyway, let's just move on. And good on Stormzy for doing it then: the buyers get a pair of trainers for 99p, he gets more chart sales: it's a win-win situation.

Released 2 October, so not too long a wait. And I assume it's OA/OS too because it hasn't premiered yet

It's premiering on Capital really soon apparently, so I could see it premiering within a week or two, which is the right way to do a held-back release imo. We'll see anyway ~

They were so close making the halfway stage the first time though.

The Vamps really are the spam kings

The Vamps' discography is currently 2-3-2-4-9, pretty impressive to have five top 10s from one album in the digital era really! All bar Oh Cecilia have a silver certification too. I'd love to see them get a #1 this time (it's not impossible), we'll see what the reaction is when it premieres!

Great to see The Vamps back - at the time of their previous era, they were easily my favourite out of the boybands.
