13th. Now You're Gone (Sugababes)

37 points

Finishing in unlucky 13th is 'Now You're Gone', the 1st song we got from v3.0 of the Sugababes. Recorded to chuck on the end of the 'Taller In More Ways' re-release, it's always been considered to be a fan favourite. And it would've made more sense to release this as the final single from the album instead of the Mutya-linked 'Follow Me Home'. It received full marks from Heezus Froot.

12th. They Don't Know About Us (One Direction)

BOO! 1D are the first act out of the running with 'They Don't Know About Us' finishing 12th. This song is simply stunning. It's a crime that they have never performed this live and of course without Zayn now they never can. His ADLIBS *.* The best Sats mod Zach was the highest scorer, awarding it a douze.

Shame One Direction have finished low here, especially "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" such an amazing song.
RIP They Don't Know About Us  As much as I love the Sats, it's sad that 1D keep doing so poorly in these group rates. I do think tracks such as Last First Kiss and Happily are better than most of the album tracks that made this list, but I can't complain as I didn't nominate...

Sorry this has ground to a halt, been such a flop lately :drama:

11th. Never Gonna Dance Again (Sugababes)

Just missing out on the top 10 is 'Never Gonna Dance Again' from the Sugababes. Originally recorded for the 'Taller In More Ways' album it was re-recorded with Amelle for the 'Change' album. A classic Sugababes sounding track with moody lyrics and a brilliant Xenomania production is why it challenged the top 10 with you guys. Mike Sugafan was the highest scorer of this, giving it an 8.

That means the top 10 consists of

Girls Aloud - Control Of The Knife

Girls Aloud - Girl Overboard

Girls Aloud - On The Metro

Little Mix - Madhouse

Little Mix - Red Planet

Sugababes - Ace Reject

The Saturdays - Faster

The Saturdays - Get Ready, Get Set

The Saturdays - Lose Control

The Saturdays - White Lies

All 4 Saturdays songs making the Top 10! :o Deserved though, all 4 are amongst their best tracks.

Never Gonna Dance Again is an excellent song  A good looking top 10 although Madhouse is too high for sure :( (as is Control of the Knife tbh )

10th. Red Planet (Little Mix)

I'm surprised this made the top 10. But then I've never been a big fan of this song, which is taken from their debut album. The song got a couple of high scores though, including an 8 from musically challenged Totto and a 10 from Electro Paradise.

Red Planet is the best album track on 'DNA' imo! Madhouse shouldn't be higher.

Yes, Jonjo, yes! For me 'Red Planet' is far superior to any other non-single on the 'DNA' album. I can't really remember Madhouse too well, so I'll have to revisit it to see if it's anywhere near worthy being in the Top 9... :eyes:

Edit: Eh... it's ok, but they certainly have better tracks (mainly on the 'Salute' album).

I'm with Jay here, I think "Red Planet" is definitely in the top...3 or 4 from the original album. Not as good as "DNA" but roughly on par with "Wings" and "How Ya Doin'?".

09. Madhouse (Little Mix)

Little Mix are the 2nd act to have all their songs out as 'Madhouse' finishes 9th. It's only 3 years old but I think it already sounds a little dated? And like Jay said, their tracks from 'Salute' are much better so I'm surprised two 'DNA' tracks have made it into the top 10. 'Madhouse' received the full 12 from Electro Paradise.

Aaron & Adam <3 :heehee:

I love Ace Reject but I can see it bowing out soon... a GA vs Sats showdown seems inevitable!

08. Ace Reject (Sugababes)

Sugababes are the 3rd act to have all their songs eliminated, as 'Ace Reject' finishes in 8th place. The song is taken from 'Taller In More Ways'. The song's title comes from the band's management loving the song but the girls hated it (or the other way around, I'm sure a Sugastan can clarify), thus 'Ace Reject' made it onto the album. The track received full marks from Mike Sugafan.

Just Girls Aloud and The Saturdays left! ;o

The girls didn't like 'Ace Reject', and didn't perform it on the Taller In More Ways tour. :( So weird, clearly the highlight album track on that album and one of their very best overall. Glad to see it's appreciated on BuzzJack!
