Biography

Shahid Khan (born 13 March 1985), often credited by his artist and production name Naughty Boy, is a British DJ, songwriter, record producer and musician. In 2012, Khan signed a three-year publishing deal with Sony ATV, as well as a recording contract to release one album under Virgin EMI Records. Khan launched himself as a record producer under the moniker "Naughty Boy" and runs his own production company called Naughty Boy Recordings.

 

Naughty Boy has produced two top-ten records for UK rappers Chipmunk and Wiley, both featuring Emeli Sandé. Naughty Boy and Sandé later formed a writing and production partnership, leading to Sandé landing her own record deal with Virgin and EMI. Sandé went on to be named the Critics Choice for the 2012 BRIT Awards, and release her debut album Our Version of Events (2012), a record co-written/produced with Naughty Boy. Khan spent 2011 and 2012 working on records for Leona Lewis, JLS, Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Alesha Dixon and Tinie Tempah, among others.

 

In 2013, Naughty Boy released his debut album Hotel Cabana. The set features prominent collaborator Sandé, as well as Ed Sheeran, Gabrielle and others. It was preceded by the release of the top-ten single "Wonder" (featuring Sandé), the number one hit "La La La", featuring Sam Smith and "Lifted", another collaboration with Sandé. His debut album peaked at number two in the UK.

Fourth. “Telephone” charted in 2009 but didn't reach the Top 10 until 2010.

Yesss for CHVRCHES getting top 5, much better album than their debut so glad to see it getting them a new peak despite their singles not doing as well.

 

Runnin' sounded really great on first listen, the two sets of vocals are excellent and the production complements it well. Glad to hear as Naughty Boy has been disappointing since La La La (and nor has the featured vocalist on that song :heehee:)

 

I've tried liking Do It Again ironically, but...I just can't. Go away.

Downtown missing top 10 :( But yay at Naughty Boy / Beyonce climbing in this week! Hopefully it can continue to increase in future weeks as well.

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), better known by his stage name Calvin Harris, is a Scottish singer-songwriter, record producer and DJ. He owns the vanity label Fly Eye Records. His gold-selling debut album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the top-ten singles, "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". His second studio album, Ready for the Weekend (2009), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and includes "I'm Not Alone", which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, the top-five hit "Ready for the Weekend", and the singles "Flashback" and "You Used to Hold Me".

Do It Again is the only Chris Brown & Tyga track which doesn't make me wish one would get marooned on Mercury and the other on Neptune. It is a tune!

Elena Jane "Ellie" Goulding (born 30 December 1986) is an English singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Lyonshall, Herefordshire. Her career began when she met record producer Starsmith and Frankmusik, and she was later spotted by Jamie Lillywhite, who later became her manager and A&R.
