It's eventually starting to make some progress, I really hope Radio 1 playlist it this week and Capital follow them, 'Eyes Shut' could be massive for them but it's limited progress has began stressing me out. They've got a Children In Need performance and I hope / doubt that they manage to get an X Factor performance because 'Eyes Shut' could be a massive top 5 hit with the right promotion.

I can't believe this is going to go top 10, it's doing very well on Spotify and is one of the examples of on air / on sale working for artists that are not massive. I don't think this would have done as well if it was held back and I'm hoping following the live lounge it could go top 10 on iTunes even if there is a decent sized gap!

I would have preferred a Graham Norton performance much more :( I've never seen Alan Carr have a strong impact for a performance which is a great shame. I'm awaiting the day Channel 4 give up on Chatty Man and ITV give up on Jonathan Ross (His ratings are incredibly hideous for ITV).

 

Can they not playlist the Sam Feldt remix, the original is too beautiful to play a remix. I hope 'Eyes Shut' does well enough to persuade Capital to playlist it because ballads in winter season is majorly needed.

It's way too soon to worry about Eyes Shut's progress anyway. If it's on the Radio 1 a-list and not smashing, I'd be very concerned, but it's doing perfectly fine right now!

'Eyes Shut' really is dull as sin. :(

KDA's lead keeps getting bigger (Perfect is just under 58%), but now #2-#7 are all bunching rather close to each other. The gap between #2 & #7 is half the size of the gap between #7 & #8 :lol:

It looks like One Direction might fall down to #3 either tomorrow or on Tuesday.

It's not the true sales, but near enough. I'd estimate the #1 is more like 6,500 sales/day so if you restructure the percentages based on that you'd get a fair idea.

The #100 song has only been bought 233 times today according to that website.

That tallies well with the midweeks - I'd actually thought it was slightly less than that actually, more like 150-200/day.

Eyes Shut is up to 83 now it's had it's last play as TOTD.

Agreed. Want it to do well because I love the band and even if I dislike the single choice I'd rather it not screw the album up, but it is so far down the album tracklist in terms of quality. They don't do ballads exceptionally well but 'Eyes Shut' is probably the worst of that mediocre bunch anyway.

Such a huge video effect for Drake, everyone just talking about his dancing!!! And it's only On ITunes and non On VEVO. GOD!

Potentially. I think it'll get to about #4 like German Whip or Freak Of The Week and hopefully that's enough for it to chart in the top 10.

Sounds almost perfect to me, but I do see your point about the variety (perhaps the first verse).

Dont know if this has already been commented on but Diplo's climbed to number 2!!!!!

 

I really wasn't expecting it to do that much but to be top 3 on iTunes is incredible!
