I've been having Greggs for lunch this era they are most delightful.

actually gonna start introducing this onto my lingo ⚰

What's wrong with era? I prefer using it to album, as sometimes one era includes a re-release and certain remixes of singles that aren't even on the album. It also extends to promo and tours of that particular ... era.

Using the word era to describe an album campaign predates Gaga anyway.
Jesus calm down. We all know Flo Rida is better than Adele, so let's move on.

Stop goading me please.

Are you even a fan of Adele? Why are you here? Have nothing else to do with your life?

Why are we all here on earth tho

What is wrong with using the word time? or even period?

As the Saturdays once sang..... "You need to take a sit down with your era"

I think you should just chillax tbh.
Era makes perfect sense - it covers their style, album, songs, tours, etc - the Spirit era makes more sense and sounds better than saying, During the time of her Spirit album ...
I've always used "era", like Michael says it encompasses everything to do with an album. It's a generally accepted term on music forums too, so it's easy for everyone to understand what you mean.

That's your opinion. I disagree.

But at least it caused a little debate.

If era was such a great word though how come no ones ever released a song called era or about eras?

Just chillax about the era of calling it an era.
