The points actually do add up correctly here, the total listed for Klum is just 2 points out for some reason (the only tiny error is Cadelicia's 1 going to Syndare instead of Dobago). Odd ~

Hmm this seems to be the case with several of the semi-final 2 results as well... Seems we did have an incorrect qualifier again this month after all. Oops.

Kylienips' points add up to 59 but the spreadsheet says 49. So they should actually have qualified over Dobago. Awk

i leave and all goes to shit
Did James use Excel? With that, there's no problems with adding and the only way there could have been an incorrect qualifier is wth wrong inputting (RIP Maisy Kay).

I don't have excel on my laptop and I used it on my phone but I had to input all the scores manually.

And Martin I am so sorry I cost you your qualification
:o I thought the DNQ for that song was strange as it had seemed like a surefire qualifier! (Though I thought it would get more like 75 points in the semi so still underperformed)

Yeah even though it should have qualified, it still only really came 19th, which is still surprisingly low! Maybe it would have done better in the final. At least it might get justice in the Rejects ~

SF2 scoreboard with the few incorrect points totals fixed:

Oh so I was actually 11th in the semi! Was liking the 'three 9th places' fact but I s'pose 69 points instead of 72 is still iconic in itself.

Oops Kylienips </3

Wow it doesn't get much luckier than that :o (would have been painful to miss out by 1 point as it apparantly should have!)

As for the result, 35th isn't too bad would have been nice to push out the bottom 10 but considering it was fighting with Syndare for last place for the majority of the reveal I'll take that late boost of votes! By the way thank you for the 18, I'm glad it clicked with a few people :D

Lord this tragedy of non-qualifiers qualifying every damn month...

Oh just great, so will the final get a re-run, bit annoyed now. The whole final should be void. The votes should have been checked.

yeah let's rerun the whole thing just to see mikey finish 36th instead of dnqing good idea
f*** it, I give up. That's me dropping out of the competition now what's the point of taking part if the semis are not checked and members losing out on a place.

Just let Kylienips have their streak back and move on (as a qualifier that gained no points). It's not worth stropping over, I'd be pissed too but it's done now.

Sail Away not in the final would have been a bit of a tragedy anyway.

No offence, I've apologised.

It was an easy error to make and your not the only one to Have been affected like this over the last few contest. I understand I cost you a final position and you must be annoyed but talking about dropping out is just plain overreacting.

I do feel awful and I am really sorry.

Mikey, have you been drinking?

This is a bit of an overreaction. It's a mistake, you've had a great year in BJSC so it should hardly be a final nail in the coffin moment for you. Realistically you wouldn't have won so the worst is that you potentially missed out on one qualifying track that may have scraped about 30th. In either circumstance an entry is pretty much forgotten, look on the bright side as at least this way you stand a good chance in the rejects competition! :D

Eep.

I really do think someone (bre) should check all of the spreadsheets before any results are posted and shared. There will always be errors, that is natural, but I think something should be done to prevent any more big ones. And it's not like the semi results are ever really indicative of how the final will play out, so someone (bre) knowing early really won't mean much in terms of spoilers.

Btw there are absolutely no errors in the semi 1 spreadsheet to my knowledge, I must've checked it about 5 times and I used formula rather than putting in the scores so semi 1 people please don't panic.

Mikey please don't leave just over this! Everyone makes mistakes and James has apologised, though yes double and then triple checking is the way forward please.
