Wycombe vs Aston Villa could provide a shock in the 3rd round. Sheffield United at home is not bad but Dagenham & Redbridge/Whitehawk would have been better of course!

Chelsea's match on paper is a bye pass into the 4th round but the way they've been playing this season who knows what could happen.

No easy games in the third round. Liverpool away to Exeter - easy tie on paper but these are cup games, anything can happen if you don't apply the right mentality.

It's all over for Salford City as Hartlepool beat them 2-0 in their replay after extra time.

Scunthorpe will meet Chelsea after their win as well. Possible shock there?

You mean you think Chelsea might win?

F.A Cup Odds:

Arsenal 13/2

Man City 13/2

Chelsea 7/1

Man Utd 15/2

Liverpool 8/1

Tottenham 10/1

Everton 16/1

Southampton 20/1

Stoke 20/1

Leicester 25/1

West Ham 25/1

Crystal Palace 40/1

Eastleigh 3000/1

At this point you can't really say who'll win, but I predict Arsenal will retain it yet again.

I predict Man City to win it and for a finalist probably either Everton or Crystal Palace for each-way value.

Really hope it doesn't happen, but got a really bad feeling about tomorrow night for Liverpool. Hope I'm wrong.
Wycombe have a very very good chance of knocking Aston Villa out of the cup, in fact i'll be surprised if Aston Villa make it into the 4th round.

That's where the most likely shock is going to be I think with Wycombe v Aston Villa and also I can see Birmingham beating Bournemouth depending on the team Eddie Howe puts out.

This is something that I've always wondered but.... when a team is made favourites for a competition does it mean they are the team that have had the most bets placed on them? thereby making them the "favourite" choice of customers?

I know being favourite means that the bookies think it's more likely that Arsenal or Man City in this case will win the FA Cup but I wasn't sure about how the gamblers fit into the equation.

Kind of yes. The bookies use an automated system to start prices, but then the prices will shorten / lengthen depending on what teams punters place their money. For example if someone put £100,000 on Arsenal at 13/2, you would see that price shorten very quickly.

Must be worth putting a few quid on each of the mid-table teams at those odds. West Ham fizzled out last year after the amazing penalty win against Everton but no one will want us or Stoke in a one-off game.

You did beat the "mighty" Bristol City though, must have been the highlight of the season... :P

I would put Crystal Palace each/way for the FA Cup possibly.

Or at 66/1, Watford.

It will be between Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool & Man Utd for who will win the FA Cup. tbh at the moment I'm not that hopeful about Man Utd winning the cup this season but it's about time that they did since the last FA Cup win was in 2004.
