May 20, 201610 yr Author I have a bad feeling we'll **** this up tomorrow (or you never know Palace might just outplay us!) Me too, I got a bad feeling also only LVG could mess this up for Man United.
May 21, 201610 yr How much are you going to lose? How much did you bet on Palace to win? Put enough on them :D It's cup final, anything could happen. Everyone expects Palace to lose. So do I. But United will play cautious, always a chance they can have one of their epic off days.
May 21, 201610 yr LVG has a habit of pulling it out the bag just as the guillotine is about to fall. So did Alex Ferguson in 1990 in this exact same fixture.
May 21, 201610 yr LVG would only remain manager for a maximum of one more year regardless. I'm sure he said he would retire at the end of the 3 year contract.
May 21, 201610 yr Been pissing it down all day and now the rain has stopped and the sun is breaking through over Salford/Trafford
May 21, 201610 yr Feels amazing to finally win this Cup again! What a way to do it too when it looked as if Palace were favourites. Breaking news that Mourinho has pretty much been confirmed. Things just got a whole lot more interesting... Edited May 21, 201610 yr by Dobbo
May 21, 201610 yr I'm over the moon that we've won the FA Cup for the first time in 12 years :D, Fantastic goal from Lingard to win it and it was a really good finish from Juan Mata for the 1st goal after Wayne Rooney's excellent run. Alan Pardew looked like such a donut when he did his dance after Palace took the lead and now looks like an even bigger donut in hindsight  #YourNotDancingAnymore ?v=EB8wsB741BE
May 26, 201610 yr Feels amazing to finally win this Cup again! What a way to do it too when it looked as if Palace were favourites. Breaking news that Mourinho has pretty much been confirmed. Things just got a whole lot more interesting... I don't know how on earth Palace were favourites
May 26, 201610 yr From next season, the quarterfinal replays will be scrapped. Another nail in the coffin of the FA Cup :( It is supposedly to reduce fixture congestion, but this season was particularly unusual. With Christmas Day falling on a Friday, Boxing Day didn't provide an extra day's fixtures - it was effectively just another Saturday programme. Similarly, there was no New Year's Day programme. To add to that, the Easter weekend was an international weaken, so there was no scope for an extra round of fixtures. That won't be the case next season, so extra dates will be available.
May 27, 201610 yr Yeh it was strange this year with the easter weekend being 2 international fixtures. I had a ball at the ireland match on good friday - only place in Dublin serving drink during the day, the bars were thriving!!
May 27, 201610 yr I don't know how on earth Palace were favourites  Well they were when they took the lead with 12 minutes to go...
June 1, 201610 yr Lol one goal can be scored in an instant but yeh when they did take the lead they would have been slight favs!
