November 10, 20159 yr It'd be silly NOT to have Justin Bieber on the show, but next week is the 1D vs. Bieber album chart battle - if Simon wants them to have a guaranteed #1 he'd do better to hold off on Bieber until the following week (though he has Little Mix and Ellie Goulding on the same week). The likes of The Weeknd, Adele and Sam Smith would surely be good shouts for the coming weeks too (bar the remaining SyCo act - Olly Murs); though somehow I can't see Smith being pulled on to perform "Writing's on the Wall".
November 10, 20159 yr Oh and I'm hoping a miracle happens and Years & Years get a slot for Eyes Shut :(
November 10, 20159 yr I'm not sure they'd want to support the competition for the #1 album! :kink: Justin is a possibility though, or maybe Kylie with the release of her Xmas album? Don't set off the member SmileyKylie! :kink:
November 10, 20159 yr Can't see Kylie performing an Xmas song this early although Rod Stewart did it on GN in November the year his Xmas compilation came out!
November 10, 20159 yr ITV LOVE Kylie...she is a big name.....big viewing figures....album up to 33rd....good promo....
November 10, 20159 yr Author Oh yes I forgot about Kylie. Trouble is whether or not they could get James Corden over given his current commitments with the Late Late Show in US and that her lead single off her Christmas album is with him...I'd say if they were they'd more likely get her on final or semi final.
November 10, 20159 yr Let's be honest, anyone can replace James on the song, it's not like he has a decent voice that is hard to cover.
November 10, 20159 yr Author Oh and just while we're here, current official UK chart midweeks show aFleur East at #4 and Cee-Lo Green at #63!
November 10, 20159 yr Author Let's be honest, anyone can replace James on the song, it's not like he has a decent voice that is hard to cover. True, but have you seen his chat show? His Carpool Karaoke with Stevie Wonder was TV gold!
November 10, 20159 yr Dan said in the X Factor thread it could be Jess Glynne as Take Me Home's impact date is Friday, which is a good shout. She was Cheryl's guest helper so is "in" with the show.
November 10, 20159 yr I've assumed it'll be Take Me Home too. She'll do it either this weekend or next weekend either way, I'm sure. Bieber is kind of a difficult one. In one case it could easily mean he takes the #1 album from 1D but then Justin would give X factor huge amounts of buzz and a ratings boost. Like jospeh I'd like to see Y&Y do Eyes Shut, though.
November 10, 20159 yr Would ITV have Jess Glynne on to do the BBC CIN single though? JLS performed Love You More on there if I remember correctly.

I don't think he will be though as I thought XF would want to create as much hype as possible for him. Jess Glynne is a good and realistic shout. Although in all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me if they had 1D perform twice, in order to boost the album.
November 11, 20159 yr "if Simon wants them to have a guaranteed #1 "
November 11, 20159 yr LOL stop being obtuse. Madonna and Mariah Carey are legendary acts (as is Paul McCartney; Celine Dion, etc). Cee-Lo Green is not. He ihad a few huge hits a few years ago but now is a nobody who is persona nongrata in most US media due to the fact he is a rapist. Hardly comparable. Madonna & Mariah are legendary acts yes but they're on exactly the same level as Cee Lo at the moment in that none of them can manage a top 40 hit. If he was a convicted rapist I doubt he'd be allowed in the country let alone appearing on ITV. Don't get your knickers in a twist, at least Cee Lo can sing live.
November 11, 20159 yr Would ITV have Jess Glynne on to do the BBC CIN single though? Course they would dont be silly it is for charity...Just because CIN airs on BBC th fact it is for charity trumps that.
