I'm not very happy that Mason is gone, but he left around about the time that I expected him to; and as his fan, it is fair, however, that he can now be detached from The X Factor because of all the acts he had the biggest vision and idea of what kind of artist he wants to be. I think sometimes the judges misunderstood that, and the song choices that he was given didn't benefit him during his most recent performances.

Anton has now given the two worst performances in the history of The X Factor to me; that One Sweet Day rendition might have been worse than his All About the BOOTS performance. His hormonal state tonight is what got him through; I bet that he wasn't far from receiving the least amount of votes. I hope he leaves tomorrow. He is truly awful.

No surprise at Mason going out, I knew when they brought him back he would be on the tour, R & B also were always going to be on the tour so will go out tomorrow night losing to I am going to go with Louisa in the sing off, if not her then 4th Impact. Although if 4th Impact are in the sing-off Cheryl probably won't vote, and if she does she will go with "her heart" and save R&B just to throw a spanner in the works.

Really?? Reggie N Bollie won't even be near the bottom 2 and neither will Louisa IMO. 4th Impact and Anton seem like safe bets in my opinion.

I think they called out each act in order of the voting table to be honest. It doesn't seem unrealistic for 4th Impact, Anton and Mason to actually have been in the bottom three. They probably were.

Also, what was up with tonight's voting format? It was horrible. Ten minutes to vote, if that? This show can't stick to its own rules that it keeps changing. I'm sick of all these double eliminations, although the Rugby World Cup really screwed up the show's formatting this year.

Tomorrow could well be Anton vs Lauren.

I seriously hope not, she's too hot for words! (and she's a really good singer as well)

I agree that they probably were the bottom three actually, although not sure the rest were called in order of votes.

The point of the "10 mins to vote" was to shake it up after three weeks of standard double eliminations :P That's what twists are there for haha. There wouldn't be so many doubles if the rugby didn't get in the way.

I'm not watching this live so Anton has just been on... Nick's comments about Anton are exactly why it was so unbelievable that he would have genuinely voted to get rid of Monica last week.

Good point.

They wanted an Over on the tour.

Yes, I know that, but it's a silly and terrible twist that has no merit. :P

Was is like this in 2011? I'm sure there were still the full compliment of Live Shows that year

I'm quite liking this trimmed down version of Live Shows either way, it becomes a bit tedious during a standard Series about round 4/5 with all the silly themes & forgettable performances. This year the cream of the crop had to impress from the off.

I think Anton might get a bit of a bounce back effect after being bottom 3 last week. (I hate how it's referred to as survived the bottom 2, as no it was bottom 3). I am hopping the Reggie n Bollie joke has worn thin by now.

Just caught up with the show. Not a great one tonight. Louisa seems to be getting all the attention but I just can't connect with her. Far far too shouty. Towards the end of the song I just want her to stop singing. The way she keeps tapping the mic is irritating too.

Lauren and Che who I normally like were just OK.

Anton is just appalling and far too desperate but I didn't like what Nick did. Just another example of this show not caring about anyone's feelings as long it creates drama.

Imagine the XF producers called someone else fake. The irony...

Mason was the worst tonight so I'm glad he went.

Other ropey performance, I agree with John, was Lauren, who looked really uncomfortable at the start, like she was worried she was about to forget the words or something. Anton was OK, but forgettable, and though Che was miles better, I find him almost just as forgettable.

4th Impact were dynamic, full of life and professional once again. But they DO need to change it up. Do something mid-tempo or down tempo and show a different side of them. All their performances have been spot on but I still don't feel like they've had Little Mix's 'Don't Let Go' moment.

Louisa was incredible once again, though it was my least favourite performance of hers due to me hating the song. But she couldn't have sung it any better.

R&B were more enjoyable than they've ever been for me, and I find it odd Simon commented on their vocals being off because tonight was the first time I though they actually might be able to hold a tune. I loved that Fuse got a look in.

I'm probably forgetting someone but they just can't be relevant enough.

- also, I have to add that as much as I love having her on TV, Rita's actual judging is pretty weak. I don't feel like she's 'getting' it a lot of the time and seems to never have anything constructive to say.

Almost certain that Anton and 4I will be bottom 2 surely? Not watched yet but can't see the other 3.

*Che and Louisa shock bottom 2*

Cheryl's reaction to Reggie & Bollie is the thing that annoys me the most about them.

They're a party on the stage and people love the light relief but that could be anybody, there's nothing special about the two of them. Take away the production and they're nothing. And for a singing contest, it's ridiculous.

Completely agree! It's absolutely laughable. I don't find them entertaining personally. Nothing against those that do, it's just that genuinely good singers like Monica and Seann are being eliminated just over two guys jumping up and down, anybody can do that. It's not talent.

Jesus, what a weak show tonight  Enjoyed Lauren and 4I but Louisa >>>>>>>>>>>>>> It really dragged, and everyone bar Louisa was below their usual standard or below average anyway.

10 Louisa – Probably looning, but she was really in another league tonight. Every single week she has wowed me, she just effortlessly belts every song with such emotion and power and connects with me every time. I don’t find her shouty, she always captivates me without fail. It was absolutely stunning <3

07.5 Lauren – Started off rather shaky for sure, the first part felt like she was worried I agree… She seemed to really nervous, I think because the song has a lot in it (the delivery in the verse is quite fast paced) but the vocals from the belting point onward was bloody incredible! I agree it’s her weakest since the first week though, as it was shaky for part of it. It’s odd that she smashed the harder high/belting bits but choked at the start!

07 4th Impact – As always, impressive and enjoyable enough – I love their energy. There is only so many times you can watch them be sassy and belt out a sassy song together. I agree with Simon, they all just sass it out in sync, they really do need a ballad where they can

06 Che – He was vocally impressive again but god for the song it was so out of tune! I can’t mark him down anymore because his vocals always are on key but it was basically unrecognisable from the original and that wasn’t in a good way - I’m just not really feeling dated ballads sung in falsetto every week.

04 Reggie & Bollie – I mean it was better than usual, but all I’m gonna say is it’s still absolutely ridiculous they’re here jumping about like idiots and just about holding a tune when Seann and Monica for example have gone. I just am not feeling what’s so entertaining about them at all?! I concede that was a catchy arrangement though and not as horrific as usual.

03 Mason – This was really quite weak, he definitely struggled with the falsetto but also the deeper verses too… He was the right choice to go really, apart from obviously Reggie & Bollie objectively he was by far the weakest and least talented if I take away whether I like the acts or not.

02 Anton – Anton by numbers. His vocal tone is horrid! I mean he does have talent, he can sing, but it’s borderline insufferable. He’s also very The Voice, just like Lauren, but he’s not likeable at all. The crying and little “tense exchange” was so fake to me :/

Really can't see past an Anton and 4I bottom 2 now. I wouldn't be entirely gutted if Che was a shock but I very very much doubt it.

I always see this point, but I never agree with it. The show is filled with good signers - but that's all they are. Who wants to watch a show for 2 hours with 12 average-good singers? I know I wouldn't. The acts like Reggie n Bollie make the show, and also give the show a sense of realism. Let's be honest a very large handful of the world's biggest popstars are hardly the greatest vocalists in the world. Sure they can probably sing better than Reggie n Bollie, but my point is, it's not always the best vocalists that have the most success.

I'd love it if Che left now. I have a feeling he won't be quite as popular with the public as expected. I think he'll be safe from the sing off at least this time though.

I'm worried for 4I, as people seem to think they'll be out, despite them still being one of the best, last night. I feel like Anton's emotion last night could have picked him up some extra votes.

I mean I could just about see Che slipping into the bottom 2, it would be a shock but at the same time not a shock if that makes sense  But of course he wouldn't go, even against Louisa which will never happen (fingers bloody crossed!) it would probably end up being deadlock!

I really don't get the Louisa hype, and you know me, I love my female singers! There is something just off with her personality, and if people like Ella Henderson and Lucie Jones can't win who are similar to her, then she doesn't deserve to at all. She has a shouty element to her voice that is very off putting too.

The only act to get excited about is 4th Impact imo, but I agree that they need to switch it up a little bit. I'd like to see them do some throwback R&B like a bit of Janet or TLC, I think that could be their moment.

I didn't really get the hype properly until last night. I have just watched her performance again and got hold of the mp3. I am totally in love with it <3
I thought 'Everybody's Free' or her Six Chair was her best, but even then, I wasn't WOWED.
