08. Just Give Me A Reason (Ft Nate Ruess) | The Truth About Love

Average: 8.392

Highest Rates: 11: (Kylie Jackson), 10: (Alex, Nick F1, Jonjuer East, Iz, Acidburn, UltraChristmas, Regina, Liam, Vibe, Chapman, bartsimpson), 9.5/9: (T Boy, Jay, gooddelta, American Oxygen, Fgiboy2511, Mack, Viper, Shivering Adam, Mr Pmt, Riser)
Lowest Rates: 4.5: (Lindsey, Aled), 5: (Chez Wombat)

At #8 is Just Give Me A Reason, released in February 2013 as the 3rd single from her 6th album The Truth About Love and features Nate Ruess from the band Fun. Despite scoring the same as "Sober", I have placed this higher due to it getting an 11 and more 10's. This is definitely one of my all time personal faves from Pink and remember when I had the album and knew that this was gonna be a single and it would smash everywhere, and it did. A very powerful well written song, that due to it's stellar production allows both Pink and Nate's vocals shine and it's simple piano melody makes it instantly memorable and of course Pink nails every note, Nate was pretty decent on this track also, but Pink was far better as you can hear the emotion in her voice that makes the whole thing a lot more powerful. Upon release this became the biggest hit of Pink's career by topping the charts in over 20 countries, including the USA becoming her 4th to date and selling over 4 Million units as well as Australia becoming her 7th over there. In the UK it reached #2 and became her biggest selling single there with over 800,000 copies sold and earning a Platinum disc. Worldwide it ended up selling over 9 Million and becoming one the all time biggest sellers and definitely well deserved.

I never got bored of JGMAR, probably because I never listen to the radio  it remaind one of my favourite P!nk songs.

Plus, it annoys Michael, which makes me love it more.

Its one that I skip a lot when listening to my iPod, but that may be more because I like listening to faster more upbeat and rock tracks because I'm usually listening to my iPod when at work or travelling

07. Please Don't Leave Me | Funhouse

Average: 8.476

Highest Rates: 11: (Chapman), 10: (JosephStyles, HonkyBonkXMAS, Alex, Jonjuer East, Acidburn, UltraChristmas, Jay, Simon, Mr Pmt, dandy, SeanGrey, Kylie Jackson, Riser), 9: (Joe, Ezra's Whore, T Boy, Beatrix Kiddo, Mack, Aled)
Lowest Rates: 4: (Chez Wombat), 5: (American Oxygen)

At #7 is Please Don't Leave Me, released in January 2009 as the 3rd single from her 5th album Funhouse. With a whopping 13 10's and several other high rates, there was no doubt that this was gonna end up at a high position, while others jumped up and down, this always remained quite steady. This is one of Pink's most subtle vocal performances to date and considering how powerful and severe the lyrics are, which are all about a woman admitting how hard she is to love, but wants it anyway. Another great song from her and can always deliver something great. But of course it's the music video that makes this stand out the most, where Pink kidnaps her boyfriend as he's about to walk out on her and then proceeds to out him through hell, which has a "Misery" theme to it and altogether wonderfully twisted and effective that supports the song itself. Upon release it became another decent sized hit by reaching top 20 positions in both the UK and USA. Elsewhere it managed top 10 peaks in Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Canada, Germany, Swiss and Ireland and top 20 in Australia, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Netherlands and New Zealand.

06. U + Ur Hand | I'm Not Dead

Average: 8.619

Highest Rates: 11: (dandy), 10: (Alex, Nick F1, HonkyBonkXMAS, Acidburn, gavindeejay, Lindsey, Dobbo, Vibe, Jark, SeanGrey, Riser), 9.5/9: (Jonjuer East, Iz, T Boy, gooddelta, American Oxygen, Beatrix Kiddo, Fgiboy2511, Troublepink, Viper, n4yr, bartsimpson, Noahspike)
Lowest Rates: -1: (Liam), 4: (Chez Wombat)

At #6 is U + Ur Hand, released in August 2006 and was taken as the 3rd single from her 4th album I'm Not Dead. This is the song that effectively saved Pink's career in the USA, it was released twice before it caught on, almost a year after it was originally released and also helped increase the album sales which basically fell of the charts not long after the first single came out. It's obvious why this helped her flagging career, it's a brilliant kiss off track with lyrics that are witty and clever, while being raunchy at the same time set against a loud rock pop edge. Upon release it was an instant smash hit across Europe, but in the USA it originally peaked at #94, but upon it's re-release sales started to increase and it reached #9 becoming her first top 10 hit in 6 years and became the most successful single from that album and even helped increase sales of the album which had floundered long before, despite reaching #6. Elsewhere it topped the charts in Czech Republic and Hungary and hit top 5 in Austria, Germany, Australia, Sweden and Swiss, along with top 10 peaks in Slovakia, Denmark, UK and New Zealand, then finally top 20/40 everywhere else.
