July 1, 20177 yr So I had a ticket for this tonight, and the stadium is 20 minutes walk from my house :( Booked the night off from work and everything. I bought the ticket second hand, but hopefully if it gets rescheduled I can make the new date...if it gets completely cancelled I'm down £70 if I can't get it refunded! It's not as bad as Michael Jackson 2009 or Nirvana 1994 - Adele at least is still alive!! - and unlike some I haven't travelled halfway across the country to see her, but hopefully I'll get to see her one day!
July 1, 20177 yr I'm so sad that Adele has cancelled, but she needs to look after herself at the same time. Had tickets for tonight, but we went to a boating lake today instead of making the trip to London! Fingers crossed she reschedules (and we can make it) 🤞
August 21, 20177 yr I adore Adele, I even love it when they call me so abbreviated :) An Adele stan *.* Welcome! Although it's a shame you've joined at the start of the long Winter of no Adele :(
April 3, 20205 yr Great achievment, 3.6 million is a whooper of a sale and isnt even her biggest seller, good thing is it will keep selling and will jump again when she releases new material.
April 3, 20205 yr Huge congrats to Adele she is definitely one of the biggest names ever now. A few of her songs came on shuffle earlier and I ended up in an Adele wormhole - I ended up listening to her for about 2 hours
April 3, 20205 yr When we were young remains my fave song by her. Love that song it reminds me of my grandfather who died from dementia, I remember when we were with him as he died and after he did I was constantly having flashbacks to being a child and staying with him in my grandparents caravan by the seaside   It's a stunning song. My favourite Adele song is Don't you remember!
April 4, 20205 yr All I Ask and Sweetest Devotion on this are some of my favourite thing she’s ever done  I’d find it so hard to actually rank my favourite singles by her though I swear they change on a daily basis.
April 4, 20205 yr Author When We Were Young is so timeless, it's got that rare quality of sounding like a lost 70s classic (Carole King sort of vibes) but also modern. Hometown Glory, Someone Like You and Set Fire To The Rain are my holy trinity tho *.*
April 5, 20205 yr When We Were Young is so timeless, it's got that rare quality of sounding like a lost 70s classic (Carole King sort of vibes) but also modern. Hometown Glory, Someone Like You and Set Fire To The Rain are my holy trinity tho *.* Def agree and the last minute of the song especially gives me goosebumps.
April 5, 20205 yr my fav Adele song is Don't You Remember, together with Someone Like You both written with Dan Wilson there is a bitterness in both songs that really comes from the guts and is so genuine, no song on 25 grabbed me like that
April 5, 20205 yr ^No :D This! River Lea and Sweetest Devotion should have been singles. Change my mimd.
